We bought a used 2009 jetta volkswagon. I had the car for about 4 days and took it to the volkswagon dealership before the warranty expired, so they can make sure the car was in good condition. Turns out i h about 4 days and took it to the volkswagon dealership before the warranty expired, so they can make sure the car was in good condition. Turns out i had a bad tire that had a slit. We took it to Greenway Ford to repair it, they had it for about a week, and repeatedly told us the tires had not come in yet. My father finally went to the dealership to see what was going on and they told us the mechanic said we hit the tire with something and caused the slit. I drove the car TWICE for those 4 days i had it, and can SWEAR i hit nothing. We talked to the manager and found out the mechanics hadnt even put an order in for my tires. So my car was sitting in the dealership for a week with a mechanic that was not planning on even fixing it when it was THEIR fault in the first place for not inspecting the car properly. Then when i was complaining about my PREVIOUS experiences with the dealership i was very angry, and i had someone at the front desk threaten to call the police on me and my father. THE MECHANICS AT THIS DEALERSHIP ARE HORRIBLE AND DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!! they have very poor customer service AND NEVER AGAIN WILL I PURCHASE A CAR HERE OR RECOMMEND ANYONE***** TO EITHER! Greenway Ford did an incredible job in assisting me in my search for a new car. After contacting the sale department, I received a very pleasant and prompt follow-up phone call from their office, confirmi search for a new car. After contacting the sale department, I received a very pleasant and prompt follow-up phone call from their office, confirming my appointment. I also looked around to other dealers in Greater Orlando, several of which seemed too busy to return my calls or follow up with me. I will admit, I spent several hours at Greenway on the date of purchase, but even while waiting the staff was polite and friendly, frequently checking in on me and my father (who accompanied me). The staff was very thorough, checking with multiple creditors to get me the best possible rate and best car possible. When I went to Greenway, I assumed I would only be able to afford a certified pre-owned car, but the finance team did an amazing job of locating a great rate for me, and were able to satisfy my search for a new car. They worked with me on selecting the best option in balancing trade in (which they gave me much more than I expected for) and found rebates to cover the down payment. I'm excited to say I selected a 2012 Ford Focus and drove it off the lot that very afternoon. My Focus was made in Michigan, came with a truly unbelievable warranty, roadside assistance, and I am thrilled to no longer worry about safety or reliability when it comes to transportation. Simply put, my experience at Greenway Ford was the best car buying experience I've ever had. Owning a Ford is a family tradition, and Greenway helped me achieve that. More

Rick Jordan at Greenway Ford was by far the most helpful sales rep I have come across. I visited three months ago looking for a future purchase and he was never pushy or aggressive for an immediate sale. He sales rep I have come across. First and foremost, just don't buy a car from Greenway Ford. Just don't. Please. Greenway Ford is the definition of shady, sleezy car salesmen willing to lie and decieve you in any ways possible. And g Ford. Just don't. Please. Greenway Ford is the definition of shady, sleezy car salesmen willing to lie and decieve you in any ways possible. And guess what? They don't care. One person actually told us to our faces "we sell 20-30 cars a day. We don't care if people are upset." I made their "job" easy. I went in there. I knew what I wanted. I did not try to haggle too much (even when they only offered me $500 for my trade in that was worth thousands more). The initial sales person, Luis, was extremely UNknowledgeable about the vehicles I was looking at. Not surprising considering he claimed he was "new." I asked questions about the cars that I already knew the answers to just to test him. Fail. Lies. Luis, as well as several other employees we dealt with were sarcastic. Rolled their eyes, laughed in our faces, etc. How charming. He did not tell us the prices of any of the vehicles I was interested in until we actually test drove them. I chose a used 2006 Toyota RAV4. The price listed online was $12,295 and he quoted us $12,695 when we signed the paperwork. Scam. All I asked for was to keep my payments in the range of $200 per month. He came back with a finance deal that was unacceptable so I said NOPE SORRY. He went back and forth with the "finance department" and finally got it lowered to $237/mo for 72 months. Ok. I can work with that. We took the car, signed the paperwork, and left the same day. The car was fairly priced so we did not complain too much about several defects that needed attention. The transmission had obviously never been serviced or flushed. The back tires were old and balding. They refused to even consider simply flushing the transmission. Fine whatever. Here is the problem: We got a call almost a WEEK later saying that we had to bring the car back. The finance company denied the finance arrangement. Not based on credit, but based on the year and mileage of the car. Unless we could now do a 48 month lease at $360 a month, we were screwed. Long story short, Luis and the finance dept fudged all the numbers just to get us in the car and get the paperwork signed, probably KNOWING the bank would deny the finance agreement. OH and my car, the one I traded in, it was gone already. It was not an option to give them back the RAV4 and leave with my original car. BUT, they COULD give me back the $500 they paid me for it. Unbelievable. We went back in, this time with some back-up. We ended up haggling with them and running different co-signors, etc to finally get the payments down to $267/mo for 60 months. We left with the car again. So now of course I am waiting to hear back from them again that the bank also denied that financial arrangement. We will see. These guys know every sleezy used car salesman trick in the book. I will make sure to NEVER, EVER let any friends or family purchase a car from Greenway Ford, and I will definitly be filing a complaint with BBB and Ford, inc. Take your time and money somewhere else and give the sales commission to someone who really deserves it. More
I found both David the salesman and Kevin in finance both friendly. I came in knowing what I wanted with a trade. I had researched the prices for both the trade in value of my car and the value of the car I friendly. I came in knowing what I wanted with a trade. I had researched the prices for both the trade in value of my car and the value of the car I wanted. The car I bought was at a great price. However they gave me a low amount for my trade. I was clearly not happy with the offer and that they would not budge at all however I need a newer car and decided to continue with the deal. I went through and talked with Kevin in finance and got the warranty for the car. When we talked about the monthly amount I would be spending I was surprised. After Kevin showed me the breakdown I realized that David had shown me numbers with $1000.00 down when I stated clearly that I was putting nothing down. Lastly I left the dealership and looked over some paperwork when I got home to find out that the warranty has a deductible of $100.00 per visit. Another surprise! Overall I feel I still got a good deal. I left with a feeling that the dealership was sneaky and petty. However, I had to go back one more time for my car to be detailed since the shop was closed when I bought my car. I expressed how upset I was and the dealership actually apologized. They filled my gas tank up and detailed my car. I had also found out that my brake light was out and they are planning to fix it with no charge and shampoo my car. I feel that they are going above to make me feel better about my experience. I must say I was very surprised and appreciate their efforts. Thank you. More
Went based on all the positive feedback about this dealership and was SEVERELY disappointed with the way I was handled at this dealership. Went there to browse their lot, with the intention of findin dealership and was SEVERELY disappointed with the way I was handled at this dealership. Went there to browse their lot, with the intention of finding two vehicles that would be purchased at a later date. Went because they are supposedly "no pressure" and "friendly", and was forced to have a salesman with us, even when we said we just wanted to walk around and look with no intention of buying. You have no choice but to walk through the showroom (which has NO CARS ON SHOW) where you are then made to walk a gauntlet of salesmen; felt like a lamb being led to slaughter. The receptionist, while friendly, wouldn't let us go anywhere near the lot without a salesman. A salesman then insinuated himself anyway and persisted to "tag along." I tried to make it clear, MULTIPLE TIMES, that I was only interested in USED or PRE-OWNED, and he continued to push NEW vehicles. After the THIRD TIME explaining that I only wanted to look at USED I walked away from him and looked on my own. As I was leaving, I was stopped by the salesman and a manager, who then tried to inquire about the vehicle I wanted to trade in, if I was going to purchase both cars (because I was there looking for TWO cars) at the same time, what I drove, what the other car was, my phone number, my email, my full name, etc etc etc... Very off-putting experience. Don't like to be hounded by salesmen the whole time. If the sales staff and the manager would've LISTENED and just left me alone to look and find them when I was ready, they would've sold two cars and had me singing their praises. Instead, I'm never going back because it was neither a "no pressure" sales staff, nor was it an inviting place. DO NOT recommend them. If you want salesmen on you the second you walk through the door, and then having them try to hold you as you leave, this place is for you. If you want a friendly, "no pressure" experience, GO ELSEWHERE! Sorry Greenway, lost my business. More
