I am a long time customer at both Greenway Ford and Dodge. I recently had my 2008 F350 in for a deluxe oil change and service. An issue with the service was identified after departing the dealer. I made contact with the service department regarding the issue and received a call from Mr Brian Grady. I explained the circumstances involving the issue, he was very understanding and offered assistance. I am an active duty military Officer and believe that taking care of people is key. When mistakes happen (and they do to everyone), take ownership and fix it. Mr Grady has the right attitude and customer service ethic that made me feel like I was a valued customer. I subsequently dropped the vehicle back off and was kept abreast of the progress and the repair. Once I arrived to pick the vehicle up I was met by Andy and Brian, they explained the repair, offered an opportunity for an upgrade should I desire and not only had the vehicle waiting for me out on the front line, but it was also washed. A dealership like any other business is not a zero defect environment, keeping customers, building loyal customers is about relationships, building rapport and taking care of people. Once my issue was identified to this team, they took the time and effort to make it right. THANK YOU! More
Bought a Ford Certified 2008 Ford in 05/26/12 of this year. Last week I started having problems with my clutch(5 speed). I took it in on 11/20/12 and was told that: the $1000 extended warranty, that I wa year. Last week I started having problems with my clutch(5 speed). I took it in on 11/20/12 and was told that: the $1000 extended warranty, that I was told I had to buy in order for me to purchase the car, did not cover the repair and that I would have to pay $1800 to get it fixed. I told them I did not want them to fix it and that I would pick the car up. When I arrived, I was told by service advisor Terry that the clutch would only get worse. I told him thank you and headed outside to get my car. When I got in and tried to drive off, the car would not go into gear at all. I guess it got worse really fast! Some of the technicians then came out and tried to drive the car but were only able to get the car to drive about 20 feet. Terry finally got it back into the service garage. He came back out and told me that the clutch plate was gone and I would have to pay to get the car fixed or pay to have it towed. On top of all this I was told a few weeks ago when I took the car in for an oil change at a different Ford dealership that my car needed new rotors and tires and that I had a bent rim...Are you serious? Ford Certified? I find that hard to believe. I honestly feel like I was duped by this dealership. They sold me a car that was not in good condition, then they basically forced me to purchase a worthless warranty that covers no more than the windshield wiper motor and when I took it in to get an issue diagosed, they purposely damaged my car so that I would have to have them fix it. More
My husband and I went to Greenway Ford even after having a bad experience a few years ago. This new experience has made this dealership the only place to buy a car. Mr. Lee Mitchell the general manager made a bad experience a few years ago. This new experience has made this dealership the only place to buy a car. Mr. Lee Mitchell the general manager made it a point to understand that my previous visit was not nice and that this one will be the best. He introduced us to Abner Jackson and Dale Hagerman. They were both very attentive and truly listened to what we needed in a car and our price range. We never felt pressured!! We were there for a few hours and they made us feel at home. We had our one year old with us and Greenway's play room is a great place for them. Even after we settled on a CPO car and left they made sure I knew that no matter what, if I have any issues to come back to them. The following week I had a few questions and went back. Mr. Mitchell and Abner made sure I was taken care of. It was truly a painless experience and would recommend Greenway to everyone. More

I did have a question however in regards to a cost factor for which Mr. Jackosn was responsive, helpful and professional in providing me with the facts and referenced resources to get my answer. On June 1, 2012 I found a perspective used 2003 Ford at Greenway Ford. I secured an independent pre purchase mechanical inspection from an independent mechanic. This inspection revealed the following defec Greenway Ford. I secured an independent pre purchase mechanical inspection from an independent mechanic. This inspection revealed the following defects: left C/V axle, inner tie rods and engine and transmission mounts. There was a lot of vibration while driving the vehicle. As part of the purchase negotiations, the repair of these items (deemed critical to the safe, dependable operation of the vehicle) were negotiated and sublet to High Performance Mechanics by Greenway Ford. In addition to the purchase price of the vehicle, $600 was tendered to High Performance for these repairs. These repairs were to be completed prior to delivery of the vehicle. After I received the vehicle from Greenway, I returned to the independent inspection shop and was informed that only part of the negotiated repairs had been completed; the firewall side mount and the transmission mount had not been repaired. I returned to Greenway Ford and presented my findings. I was assured that these items would be repaired by High Performance. When I received the vehicle back, the vibration was still present. On August 17, 2012 I had a reputable mechanic perform a tune up on my vehicle. They informed me that three mounts and one tie rod repaired under the agreement with Greenway Ford had prematurely failed. I went back to Greenway and ended up having to argue with them to have the mechanic look at the vehicle. The manager that I had dealt with in the past was not there, so I had to meet with someone else and explain the entire story. They initially told me that the vehicle was sold “as is” and that I needed to speak with High Performance directly. When I told them that Greenway had set up the repair work directly with High Performance they took copies of my paperwork and my check proving that I had paid High Performance. They then allowed me to schedule a time to meet with the High Performance mechanic at Greenway. The mechanic admitted that the parts had failed but said that it was due to something else. The mechanic told me that he should not even be speaking with me since the negotiation was done through Greenway and they were his customer. He said that I should have just dropped the vehicle off with Greenway and let them deal directly with him. Initially I was told that the new parts would be available the following Tuesday and to bring the vehicle in to Greenway then. I called Greenway four times that day to set up a time to drop the vehicle off. I was finally told to bring the vehicle in after 6pm. When I arrived, the manager acted surprised to see me and said that the parts would not be available until Thursday. I had to argue with him to get him to keep the vehicle since he had originally told me Tuesday. They had my vehicle for the week. When I picked the vehicle up, the vibration continued to exist. I returned to the mechanic that had completed the tune up and had the defective parts replaced for an additional cost. It is my assertion that rather than receiving $600 worth of repairs, I have received faulty parts, had to pay out of pocket for these repairs to be completed correctly elsewhere, and ended up with exasperation and frustration in my dealings with Greenway Ford. More
