It was a pleasant experience until the sale was finalize and we wrapped up w/ financing (purchased an Escape on Oct 17, 2011). From there, it was a complete hassle and still is. For starters, my credit car and we wrapped up w/ financing (purchased an Escape on Oct 17, 2011). From there, it was a complete hassle and still is. For starters, my credit card was overcharged by a THOUSAND DOLLARS due to an error of the girl at the front desk. I undestand accidents happen but Greenway Ford made it a burden on us to get it corrected. Because it was after business hours we were told it would have to wait until the next day and that they would call us. That never happened and it took me calling the dealer to get the ball rolling to straighten it out. That was a complete pain. In short, I first called at 9:45 in the morning and it wasn't until 2:18pm in the afternoon that I finally got to speak to someone who could help. I kept getting the run around when I would call I'd get transferred to different voicemails which was extremely annoying. I spoke to a Grace and a Francis a few times that day but they continued to send me to wrong voicemails and failed to get a live person on the phone for me. I thought Francis would be more helpful since I believe she was the one who made the transaction error the night before. I documented my call log and wait tmes and there was one instance I was on the phone fr 18 mins and 20 secs and still didn't get transferred to someone who could help and the call ended w/ me being sent to a random voicemail. The credit back on my credit card as delayed b/c the dealer didn't have the original receipt (they had given it to me by accident in my paperwork). They would not accept a copy by fax which was ridiculous considering it was their mistake. It was suggested I bring the receipt back to the dealer so they could process the refund. I live 35 minutes away from the dealer. Our sales rep Jeremy then kindly offerd to come and get it which was above and beyond on his part but again, the process should not have been delayed b/c they didn't have the original. This was $1,000 charged in error that they should have made every effort to quickly correct. The next issue is the speakers in the Escape. We noticed right away that the front driver's side speaker isn't right and has static. We brought it to our sales rep's attention so it could be taken care of when the vehicle was returned to get the leather seats put in. He acknowledged that there was something wrong w/ the speaker. It was coming and going. He said he took the vehicle to service but because the speaker wasn't acting up at the time there was nothing they could do. I of course challenged this and emphasized that not only have we (my husband and I) noticed something is wrong w/ the speaker, Jeremy (w/ Greenay Ford) has also so clearly there's a problem and being that it's a new vehicle it needs to be fixed. It was suggested to us that we wait until it happens again and drive it to a Ford dealer so they can hear the problem. This isn't a reasonable solution. We've heard it, Jeremy w/ Ford has heard it and has admitted there's a problem, and yet Greenway Ford isn't willing to fix it. It was also suggested to wait until after we reach 1,000 miles and it might go away. Well, we're over 2,000 miles and it's still there. I left a voicemail w/ Aresene Orelien (I apologize if the spelling is off) mid-day Jan 9th and am waiting a return call. I was told he was in the office yesterday so I'm not sure why I haven't receieved a phone call back. Though we love our Escape (minus the speaker issue) it is highly unlikely we will ever purchase through Greenway Ford again and possibly Ford. 3 months later we're still trying to get what we paid for. I will say that our experience working w/ financing was excellent. We worked w/ a gentleman named Jared or Gerald (can't remember his name but I definitely remember his focus on customer service). He was extremely pleasant to work w/ and we appreciated his time. We recognize that our sales rep Jeremy was trying to make things right and he went above and beyond making trips to us vs making us drive to Greenway again. We enjoyed working w/ him. However, it seems as though his hands are tied when dealing w/ customer service. It's absolutely ridiculous that the service department wouldn't trust him when he says there's something wrong w/ the speakers and get it taken care of. Very disappointed. More
General Manager called last week and resolved issues. Was at first skeptical but they seem to be concerned about customer relations more than i thought originally. at first skeptical but they seem to be concerned about customer relations more than i thought originally. More
My truck is at a different dealership for the same repairs Green Way Ford supposedly did 3 months ago. When I went to pick up the truck at Greenway Ford 3 months ago I was charged $250.00 to remove th repairs Green Way Ford supposedly did 3 months ago. When I went to pick up the truck at Greenway Ford 3 months ago I was charged $250.00 to remove the valve covers and replace wires. When I pointed out the valve covers still had oil and had not been removed they said the only removed one valve cover. Now 3 months later the truck is at a different ford dealership and guess what those wires I paid to replace are bad again. The same truck had Greenway clean a filter in the fuel tank 4 months ago, now at a different dealership and $2,300.00 dollars later the same filter is completely deteriorated and in the words of the mechanic could have never been cleaned by Greenway 4 months ago. BE VERY CAREFUL GREENWAY FORD WILL LIES AND RIP YOU OFF More

My brother and I went in to look at a truck that was advertised online when we arrived they immediately paired us with a young man as our sales person he showed us the truck then had to keep going insid advertised online when we arrived they immediately paired us with a young man as our sales person he showed us the truck then had to keep going inside to get the info we needed to make a decision. This obviously frustrated him and as he was showing us the vehicles he was talking to us about how great the pricing is but we found undisclosed issues with that truck so we went on to see others as he was showing us the trucks I was using my iPad to look up the NADA values just to insure I'm not getting gouged this sent him over the edge and he stated to us " have NADA SELL US A TRUCK THEN!" I was floored we just exited at that point as we were leaving his mgr asked us if we were satisfied so we told him what happened and just left. To bad too I had 20k to buy a truck and drove 70 miles that evening. That was my first experience with green way ford I wont ever walk thru those doors again I assure you More
Me and my son came into Greenway Ford with the goal of purchasing two cars. The reason being was that we had seen an ad in the paper so we decided to check it out. First, we call as soon as we seen the ad purchasing two cars. The reason being was that we had seen an ad in the paper so we decided to check it out. First, we call as soon as we seen the ad. The person we talked to had no knowledge of the advertised priced but insured us that Greenway Ford will honor any price that they had advertised. The priced was listed on their website much higher than the ad. We scheduled an appointment for the next day. When we arrived the next day we went to the receptionist ant told her we had an appointment to meet with a sales person who named I forgot quickly as possible. It showed that the receptionist was not informed because it was not scheduled in the system. She called the sales person and we waited in the lobby for about 20 minutes. Finally, Sam comes out and we tell him about the cars we were interested in because we wanted buy them as quickly as possible with no hassle. The car I wanted was there but they could not find my son's car that he wanted. During the whole time I was waiting on them to find the second car for my son, which was about 35 minutes we noticed that everyone was just hanging around like high school kids after a party. One guy came out the back putting lotion on his arms and face as if he was at home getting out of the shower. We looked at each other and smiled to keep from getting angry. Finally they told us that the car was sent to the auction for repairs because the gauges were broke so they couldn't determine the miles on the vehicle. They lied to our face because they had a service center at the dealership but why would you send it to a auction??? My son was ready to leave after hearing that and seeing how terrible the service was. I checked out my car but they sent a different sales person from the person I was talking to when I first came. Now keep in mind I never even meet the person I had scheduled the appointment with. So I test drove my car and it drove ok but I only drove around the lot. Multiple service warning lights appeared as I started the vehicle. The vehicle was kind of up to date so it read out everything that needed to be serviced soon despite how smooth the ride was. I finally got down to a price and it was nowhere near the price we had seen. Greenway added a 2000 dollar fee on top of a very high tax, tags, and title fee of 799. The car was a purchase as is car but there was know room for negotiation and my day was a complete waste of time. As far as communication from Greenway Ford I rate them a negative -10. The only time I talked to somebody about the cars was when I email them on the website for updates and more info. I was treated like a stranger every time and talked to multiple people each time who wasn't aware of who I was and was I was inquiring about. After reading the reviews from others and my personal experience I would recommend that the General Manager should replace the whole staff starting with the manager. I felt it was too many employees for the service to be that bad. The service was really bad!!! Really really unprofessional. It is important that you research these dealerships before you spend your money. Most are only about making money and not about helping people. More
Greenway was the AAA internet no haggle dealer I used to by my truck and it was fast, friendly and as pain free vehicle buying experience I've ever had in 40 plus years of buying cars. My salesman , Atef S by my truck and it was fast, friendly and as pain free vehicle buying experience I've ever had in 40 plus years of buying cars. My salesman , Atef Soliman, was responsive to my calls and needs and is a very pleasant person to work with...not your typical car salesman!!! I told him what vehicle I wanted and that it was at a dealership 40 miles north of here. He called me back a few hours later and told me he had obtained the vehicle and that it was on the Greenway lot to be seen. I went out the next morning and he came in on his DAY OFF and we concluded a deal which included a trade in and financing and I drove it home in less than 2 hours. You just can't beat that kind of service. So you can consider me a very satisfied Greenway customer...I can only hope the service department is as pleasant to work with when needed. More
Hi, I'm adding an update. This is an addendum to the review I posted on 8-3-2011. Even though the experience I recounted in that post was very upsetting to me and still has left a bad taste in my mou review I posted on 8-3-2011. Even though the experience I recounted in that post was very upsetting to me and still has left a bad taste in my mouth, I do have good news. The positive is that after posting my review here and maintaining communication (as well as my customer rights/expectations), Greenway worked with me. It replaced the broken part that was not allowing the middle seat to fold. Thank goodness. What use is an SUV when you can't fold the seats to haul big items? It's really nice to have that problem behind me. Fortunately that was the last 'issue' that occurred before our 30 day expired, so now if we were to need a repair, it would fall under our extended warranty. And we can take it anywhere for that service. So thank you Greenway, for doing the right thing by me and fixing that seat. I do appreciate it. - Rachel More
