Watch the numbers closely!! Negotiated a price on a Honda Odyssey (sales woman was friendly). Put negotiated price in writing and we signed. Moved to finance department and the finance manager used the original MSRP as the purchase price. Luckily, we caught this. Finance manager’s response: “There is no way for us to know a negotiated price unless you tell us. We have no knowledge of the deal that you make with our sales people.” (Uh, why put a deal in writing in the first place?) Great strategy on their part! Terrible for an inexperienced buyer! Beware! More
