The temporary registration was due to expire - at that point I wouldn’t be able to legally drive the car. Left voice mails for a lady in their Title dept. I then left messages for the Salesman, the Sales manager and the Finance Manager (we paid cash but he sold us an extended warranty and thought he could help - nope). I then went to the website and asked for help via chat. She took the info and said someone would call…. Again nope. The sales guy called the next day who said it wasn’t his dept - after he detected my mood he said he would go check but didn’t call back. I called in again and he said the Sales Manager was handling it and might be able to call me back, if he wasn’t too busy (they weren’t too busy to cash my check) I finally went and picked up the registration and plate today, Guess what? They didn’t order the disabled plate so I got to go to the County, sit in line and pay extra because they were considered replacement plates. Yes, people make mistakes - the plates should have taken two weeks, not seven so someone screwed up and someone should have ordered the right plates. I could live with that but can’t live with not communicating with me and ignoring me and leaving me with no idea what to do. I did leave a voice mail for Walter Grayson. No he hasn’t called, nor am I holding my breath. I suspect the fruit doesn’t fall far from the tree. I will not be going back there. I’ll drive an extra 50 miles one way to the next nearest dealer for scheduled maintenance and any warranty issues, DON’T BUY ANYTHING FROM GRAYSON. They only want your money. After that they will drop you like a hot rock. More

Drove from NC to TN. I was concerned about a few exterior blemishes and paint defects. Worked with Jeff who made it seem like it was no big deal. Assured me it was easy to get the areas repaired or touched up. Never once did he mention this agreement needed to be included in the documentation nor did he state a specific time frame to have the repairs done. I work for Department Of Social Services as a Child Support Enforcement Agent, Monday through Friday so it is has been difficult to schedule when I work and live in NC. I found some time and attempted to coordinate the repairs or touch ups. In several attempts to communicate, Jeff has back paddled and done a 180. He now states he would have to get it approved. I have spoken with several other employees and a Gavin, who was extremely arrogant and abrasive. A total lackluster of customer skills. Told me it was policy and that under TN law they do not have to do anything if it wasn’t included in the documentation. I have THEIR photos of the vehicle, on their lot prior to purchase and you can actually see one of the spots. I conveyed that I also have email correspondence with Jeff right after purchase stating my concerns with the exterior areas. I have Jeff’s email response stating they could take care of it. Gavin insinuated the photos could be any photos and they were not valid. He also stated it is their “policy” and by law they did not have to do anything for me and there was nothing they would do for me. Had I known this, I would have NEVER given Mr. Grayson my business. When you work really hard and have to spend hard earned money on a reliable vehicle, you want it to be mechanically sound and to be of good quality on the interior/exterior. What ever happened to when a man shook your hand and gave you his word that he followed through, stood true to his word and his pact? What happened to merit and what happened to integrity? More
This dealership sucks. I’m so mad 😡 I can’t ever explain the headache. I’m 71 female from SC my car over heated in Tennessee when I went to drive my brother to some surgical things done. On my way home so I got to the motel and had my car towed there. I told them the over heating light was flashing.red and blue. They said they would run a diagnostic on it and that would be $165.00 Then Adam came and told me the engine was blown and it would cost $8,000-10,000 to replace. I knew they were lying The tow truck guy delivered me and my car 1:00 in the afternoon. I was there until 7:50 at night. My brother came and picked me up and took me back to Greenville SC Three hours then he drove straight back to his home in Tenn. The next I googled what would make the red and blue light flash. I called my brother and told him what that meant and he called Auto Zone ask if they had the part. It was only $23.00 for the part. He drove back to the dealership and had that part put on my car in fifteen minutes. He left his truck next door. Made sure it was okay with owner. Drove my car to me and I’ve been driving it for over two weeks no issues. Then the next day my daughter drove him back to Tennessee to his truck in Knoxville. We have tried for two weeks to get our money back. They keep telling us they will check on it and call us back. NO CALLS back. What a bunch of crooks. I am reporting them to the better business. I couldn’t look myself in the mirror if I treated people the way they. As far as I’m concerned the dealership in sale is just as much to blame as the service manager (Brad) Adam in service was so rude to me. It’s not about the money.it’s how they are stealing money from families that can’t afford sometimes to buy food. I’m done trying to call them anymore. I just had three major surgeries and I don’t need this kind of stress. Roxann Bowker Greenville SC More
My rating is actually a ZERO! I have owned two Subaru models and enjoyed the cars. Never thought I would own another type of vehicle until working with Grayson in Knoxville Tn. I have owned two Subaru models and enjoyed the cars. Never thought I would own another type of vehicle until working with Grayson in Knoxville Tn. If your car needs work, be prepared for months of endless lies as they string you along saying they are working on your vehicle, when in fact they are doing nothing. Our car was wrecked May 2023, as of November 2023, it’s still being worked on. We gave up and traded for a KIA this week. Thank goodness for the KIA dealer willing to do a trade knowing the terrible situation Grayson Subrau put us in. The cost of all of this is tremendous, financially and emotionally. Very important note is my husband called the owner of dealership, he had ZERO interest in helping. Of course there was plenty of conversation regarding where the last $500 they feel due them, is coming from. I wish they would have cared as much about us as customers as they do their almighty dollar. More
Was on hold 15 minutes before someone answered the phone. No apologies were offered. Spoke with head of service department Mike and received no satisfactory response. Finally spoke with the General Manager W No apologies were offered. Spoke with head of service department Mike and received no satisfactory response. Finally spoke with the General Manager Walter and he was condescending, arrogant, and completely uninterested in satisfying a customer. I’m going to stick with Toyota where I am valued as a customer. After reading several of the reviews, it seems there is definitely a problem at this dealership. More
Very unpleasant experience. Contradictory and unreliable information. Mandatory useless high profit options are a deal breaker for me. I inquired about a new palisade on their w Contradictory and unreliable information. Mandatory useless high profit options are a deal breaker for me. I inquired about a new palisade on their website that was listed as in transit. Inquired as to availability and was told it was available. Further into the negations that was rescinded and told there had been a deposit placed on it. Chris initially said he’d have no problem doing a dealer exchange but wanted $1000 deposit prior to putting out inquiries to other dealers. SERIOUSLY? You want $1000 deposit on a car that doesn’t exist for sure!?!? Ridiculous to even suggest such! Not interested in doing business in that fashion. Chris did text me later and said he’d go against company protocol and see if he could locate one. Moved on. Contacted a dealer near my other home and made a seamless purchase over the phone in less than 30 minutes. No market adjustment, no silly high profit useless mandatory options and no doc fee!! MSRP, tax and title and that was it. $500 deposit and delivery in less than 2 weeks! There are thankfully still a few reasonable dealerships around! More

Inquired about a car, salesman texted me and said give him 15 minutes. After about 3 hours I called back and spoke with another salesman who was extremely rude. When I asked a couple of basic questions him 15 minutes. After about 3 hours I called back and spoke with another salesman who was extremely rude. When I asked a couple of basic questions about the vehicle he informed me that they had approximately 180 used vehicles at any time and he couldn’t be expected to know everything about them. Then after a long pause he informs me that the one I inquired about has turbo problems. With that I ended the call. About a week later the initial “give me 15 minutes guy” texts me to say the vehicle I had inquired about was sold and asked if I was interested in anything else. Well if it takes you a week to get back to someone then of course it’s probably sold! All in all this was a terrible representation of a business. Just really gives the impression that the salesmen could care less about the customers or selling cars for that matter. There was absolutely nothing right about this interaction. More
