We bought a Jeep Wrangler from Grand Prix for the first time in 2001. We generally loved the car except for one drawback; it's 4 cylinder engine was a bit weak for highway driving. But we enjoyed it for m time in 2001. We generally loved the car except for one drawback; it's 4 cylinder engine was a bit weak for highway driving. But we enjoyed it for more than five years. We traded it in (and got what we thought was a really fair trade-in value from this dealer) and bought a Jeep Wrangler again in 2006 (6 cylinder this time). We loved the car, this time with no drawbacks whatsoever. Recently, (although our 2006 Wrangler had been paid off seven months earlier, and we were not really looking to trade it in because it was in excellent shape and had low mileage for its age)we happened by Grand Prix one weekend, just to look at the 2011 Wranglers in stock. On that day we met one of their salesmen, Roy Wander. Now, either Roy is a really nice guy or he is an excellent actor. And, I don't think it is the latter, because I teach acting in New York and have done so for 30 years. We told him that we weren't really in the market for a new car, but were just looking out of curiosity. He was extremely helpful without being the least bit solicitous. He was willing to spend a lot of time and answer a lot of questions and research whatever we asked if need be. Not only was he low pressure on sales, he was NO pressure on sales. Now, the laugh may be on us, because we ended up buying a car. But the trade-in value we received was very good, we exchanged a five-year old car for a new one, and we got a fairly low monthly payment without putting down much money with the trade-in. I am sure we would not have bought a car at this time except for Roy's genial nature and helpfulness. His manner allowed us to think about whether or not WE really wanted to trade at this time. We were never put in a position of "Make your decision now or we can't guarantee the deal," or other such sales tactics. Roy seems only to have one tactic: he shows you whatever you want, he tells you whatever you want, he helps with whatever you want. Let's face it: HE knows he is in sales; WE know he is in sales. He does eventually WANT to sell a car. But we really appreciated the way that he does it. The dealership certainly did not give the car away; the deal wasn't THAT good. But we love the new 2011 Wrangler Sahara that we bought. We hope the dealership rewards Roy appropriately. And we certainly recommend him as someone pleasant, knowledgeable, and helpful to deal with. Kevin made life a lot easier by being down to earth, straight forward and open to my wants and needs in a new vehicle. He was very informative about the vehicle I was interested in, and made my Jeep purchase a piece of cake. Plus I got a great deal!. From the first time walking through the door, until the day I left the dealership with my new car, I was given the upmost attention and care. What more can you ask for? I would easily recommend Kevin & Grand Prix for anyone looking for a new Jeep. More
I was shopping around for a Jeep Wrangler 2dr Sport and actually had another dealer have the exact one i wanted but I chose to go with Grand Prix because of salesman Paul Perrota. Paul is the most profe actually had another dealer have the exact one i wanted but I chose to go with Grand Prix because of salesman Paul Perrota. Paul is the most professional, friendliest car salesman I have ever had the pleasure to work with. He showed me every make and model Wrangler so I knew exactly what was in each and every model before making my decision. Between his professionalism and the Grand Prix perks they give, I was willing to get a different color then i initially wanted just so I can give Paul the sale. My brother is already looking forward to using Paul within the next few weeks as well to lease a Jeep as well. I will go back to Grand Prix after both leases are over on my current vehicles. More
