The cars are top rate. The personel are UNPROFESSIONAL as well as rude and not well informed. When I pointed out an error of theirs, we were told that "I don't need to deal with you" and were shown the door. well as rude and not well informed. I bought a new car at this dealer this year and it was not an easy experience, but Mr. Price rescued it in the end. The management is rude. Do not go there to be treated as a customer should...donuts at the service desk should not be a factor in your purchase...They do not act as if they want or need your business. Roy, the salesperson that took on our "challenge" was a professional, unlike his bosses.This was my first stop to buy another car. I am glad I went here first, as now even the not too great dealers are able to outperform these miserable people. They are acting like the Honda dealers of the 80's...if you don't like it, f*** off,we will sell our cars to someone else. In fairness, they did NOT say that. They did act that way though.They were successful in opening up my shopping to other local dealerships. Thanks Grand Prix for that! More

I was all set to close a deal on a vehicle when I noticed that I was being given a high rate for financing. I was declined by several banks according to Arnie (finance manager) including Chase of which Subaru uses to finance their vehicles. In my confusion and disbelief, I just wanted to take some time to get to the bottom of this. I have very good credit and in no means a dead beat when it comes to credit. I told Todd & Arnie I will leave a deposit and give me a day or so to sort things out. Surprisingly, there was one bank that approved me for a really high 5.69% APR! I felt pressured by them to take the APR they wanted to give me. I gave it a few days, I applied to 3 banks by myself and all got approved with much lower rates then what Arnie was offering me. I ran a credit report on myself and nothing out of the ordinary to indicate those sudden declined applications done by Arnie. To make a long story short, I call back Arnie and told him I decline to use dealer financing and want to use my own pre-arranged financing since the APR rate is much lower. Arnie's attitude changes right after this. He told me "well, if you want to use your pre arranged financing that they cannot offer the discounted price of the car as agreed a few days ago" To add insult to injury he wanted to add an extra $1,200 on top of the sticker price! BUYER BEWARE !!!! Have your financing done by your local bank or credit union an have this dealer This deal fell short because of Arnie and his mishandling of the finance deal. I have since purchased elsewhere More
I bought my Subaru Forester from Grand Prix two days ago. The transaction was a home run: price, trade-in value, selection, and superlative personnel left me completely satisfied. Today I couldn't figure out one of the options I'd bought. So they sent someone over to make a house call. A house call, can you believe it?! And I live 15 miles away! Now I am ecstatic that I went to Grand Prix instead of two other dealers that were closer to me. If you are deciding between car brands, as I was initially, buy the Subaru just to work with these guys. The level of communication really stands out above the rest. When I left a message about my issue, I got calls back from Jeanne and Arnie, who had worked with me on the sale, and also Vinnie from the automotive side, I believe. This is really an integrated dealership, not a car seller with a maintenance department stuck on as an afterthought. Definitely, definitely go with Grand Prix. More
I had a fantastic experience at this dealer. Nicole is very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. It was such a wonderful experience and so different from other Subaru dealers in the region, where they could very kind, knowledgeable and friendly. Nicole took a great deal of time explaining all about different models and when I was ready to pick up the vehicle she went well above and beyond her call of duty to make sure all papers , and all matters pertaining the lease of the car were in order. I can recommend without hesitation this dealership. Very rare to find such wonderful people working in a place like this ( at least in the New York area. Only words of praise from this customer Of course the manager was equally helpful and accommodating to my husband and my needs. More

In my case, my deal involved leasing a vehicle that I had to wait 14 weeks to arrive from the factory. When the car finally arrived, I was told that my payment would be $130 more per month than I was quoted, and to add insult to injury, I had to decide immediately if I still wanted the car. I can only conclude that because the car I ordered was in high demand with very little inventory, that they were able to sell it to someone else for a much higher price. Nevertheless, I was able to get a better price from a different dealer on a more expensive car, with financing approved within one hour. Makes you wonder what kind of business this dealer and Subaru are running. If you're wondering that my credit must be bad, I assure your that is by far not the case. When I signed the order with this dealer, I was assured by the salesman that my financing would not be an issue if I had good credit. Thereafter, neither the dealer, their bank, nor Subaru was able to show me why I did not qualify for my quote, the furthest that I was able to get was "it's a formula with all sorts of algorithms that only the finance people understand". The kicker, they made me wait 3 weeks to return my deposit. These guys are bad news! From the lying owner (Joel) who was crying that he's now stuck with a car that he does not have a buyer for (it's a fact that there are many people waiting months for these cars to arrive), the finance manager (Artie) who's nasty demeanor is only matched by his incompetency (or should I say lying competency) to perform proper financing to live by his quotes, to the lost souls who got caught in the middle (George the salesman, Tom the sales manager, and Dan the general manager), be very careful in dealing with these guys. More

I also asked that he delay the arrival of the car due to some unforeseen personal family concerns to which he readily complied. He offered to help me set up my bluetooth when in the neighborhood. He also is very response to me; always promptly answers my messages. I have a friend who may be interested in a subaru and I will definitely bring her here to Roy. Arnie was also very nice and helpful. I appreciated his straightforwardness and realism in making choices. I went in certain that I would NOT purchase the warranty but ended up with one after his gentle, yet persuasive style convinced me otherwise. I'm not an easy sell but he convinced me with a very strong solid case. Much thanks to everyone at Subaru---it was a truly pleasant experience and I can't think of a car I would want more than my impreza. I purchased a certified 2008 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited from Grand Prix on 11/19/11. It's been over a month and I still haven't received the license plates. The temporary in-transit permit which is valid for a month has expired and I am unable to drive the Jeep just before holidays. Despite various follow ups the attitude of the dealership has been very lax. They hid the facts and did not disclose that the title of the vehicle was still in the name of the previous leasing co. They seem to have no interest or urgency in addressing the issue, specially since they've already sold the vehicle. Me and my family are stuck at home and cannot go for our planned out of town vacation! More
