Thanks for a better car buying experience than i've ever gotten anywhere else. Called for a test drive day one, thought about my options day two, finalized the deal day three with some flexibility by the gotten anywhere else. No "real help" from the Service Rep! I would have paid $825 for a quoted repair to my 2013 Expedition, except I did an internet search for the part I was quoted and within a matter of jus I would have paid $825 for a quoted repair to my 2013 Expedition, except I did an internet search for the part I was quoted and within a matter of just a couple on minutes on my own I found info on a known problem with my exact Model & year of vehicle, describing the problem I was having. It went on further explain that my vehicle was eligible for a repair of my vehicles exact problem with potential significant safety implications at no cost under a FORD Customer Satisfaction Program. The "Service" person claimed to know nothing about it (why not?), when I called him back. Hesaid he would look into it, hung up and called me back a few minutes later and said, oh yeah, I was right, the repair would be done with the cost covered by FORD. If I hadn't done the work to search it myself, I would be $825 lighter in my bank account or indebted on my credit card. Ultimately, they did repair for no cost as they should have in the first place, but why doesn't a dealership that wants a good word from their customers to recommend to others not proactively look out for its customers and being proactive about doing what is best for them, greed? I was told sorry, that he was embarrassed and they washed my car. I think a few complementary oil changes would have gone a long way towards eliciting some good will and future recommendations for others to get their service work done at Boucher FORD of Menomonee Falls. More
