I recently needed emergency service for my 2018 Ford EDGE. I was traveling to Minnesota from Illinois when my trip was stopped cold by a flat tire. The flat tire wouldn't have delayed my trip for too long, if I had been able to remove the flat tire/wheel from the vehicle. I could not remove one of the lug nuts and needed to have my Edge towed to somewhere for the necessary service. I always have my Ford Edge serviced at my local Ford dealership where I purchased my EDGE. So, I felt the best choice for this emergency service was a Ford dealership. I was not disappointed! My EDGE was towed to Gordie Boucher Ford in Janesville, Wisconsin after the Service Department had closed for the day. The next morning, I went to the Service Department, and was welcomed by Service Consultant, Elisha Lone. She recognized my repair needs and assured me that she would do her best to minimize the interruption of my journey. Elisha explained the swollen lug nuts that prevented me from removing the flat tire/wheel from my vehicle and recommended that I replace them on all four wheels. I considered this to be very valuable advice. The tire was repaired, and the lug nuts replaced in just two hours. A job well done! I'm fortunate and extremely grateful to Elisha Lone for her efforts and advice. She is a valuable asset to Gordie Boucher Ford. And although I don't know his name, I also want to thank the service person who performed the work on my Edge. My experience at Gordie Boucher Ford was 100% positive. More
I went in for a service and although they completed the recall work and service somethings were left unchecked, which in my opinion is unacceptable and leaves me to wonder how the work really went. The windshield wiper fluid left unfiled and oil life not reset. Among not being able to find my keys for a few minutes. I may try again, but not what I expected out of a dealership of this caliber.
