Im glad I got my car from Goodson Acura, they make their costumers feel like family and are really good with negotiating on the prices and making sure the buyer is satisfied. My parents were in the market for a used vehicle. We needed an SUV that could accomidate my mom and her 5 grand children. I found them a white 2005 Acura MDX online with autotrader. When I sent an email inquiring about the vehicle, internet salesman David Rivera responded to my inquiry promptly. The next day he called to inform me the vehicle was still available and when would be a good time for me to come test drive and take a look. I was able to go up to Goodson Acura that same evening with my father to test drive the truck. David was very friendly and informative with all the information about the truck we were inquiring about. We test drove the car, it rode great, and my dad really liked it. The dealing process went really well, they did not keep us in the dealership all evening trying to put us in a vehicle we were not interested in. David worked with the price range we were trying to stay in. We knew what we wanted, and David did his job to work with us and give us just that. The process was quick and simple, and within less than two hours we drove off the lot with the vehicle we went there to see. Thanks David! We had tons of mishaps with Goodson from the start. We called to place a deposit on a vehicle that we wanted to buy within the following week. We were on military leave and were getting there as fast as we could. We gave them our card info and the car was supposedly held for us. Long story short; they were trying to sell the vehicle to others throughout that week. We did end up buying the MDX and for the following months had several issues with this supposed "certified" MDX. Air went out, vent controls popped off (during test drive) Goodson was said to replace and that was a true fiasco with Goodson and Acura care. We were never given the lug nut lock, etc. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. Poor poor service. More
Bought a 2012 MDX w/Technology pkg from Joel Anzaldua with an assist from Paul Glickler their internet sales manager. The price on the car was better than I expected to get, and Acura was running 0.9% fi with an assist from Paul Glickler their internet sales manager. The price on the car was better than I expected to get, and Acura was running 0.9% financing for 5 years, so with nearly interest free money it was a no brainer. I got more for my trade than i expected too after looking at Edmunds & KBB trade in values for the car.I love the new vehicle, and had a great experience dealing with these two gentlemen. I went online and found a used 2010 Camaro on their lot. I went to the dealership to look at it and Brian was our salesman. I provided a very low rating due to the treatment I encountered over the weekend with the Preowned Sales Manager Michael Wells. I drove over 40 miles one way to purchase a car from this dealership. I had already scheduled an appointment with a salesman by the name of Johnny. The bad experience started after driving the vehicle of my choice and making it known that I was interested in the vehicle. I was approached by Michael Wells as he tryed to convince me to apply for financing through Acura. I informed him that I already had financing secured from my credit union. At that point, he stated that it was the dealership policy to pull credit regardless of using them for financing and also stated that a hard credit pull would have to be done even if I paid in cash. He began to say that they have to assure that the dealership had to make sure you were not sending or receiving money from the middle east. I have an unusual name and would hope that Mr. Wells was not being a racist. I asked him to provide me with the final price for the car including tax and title to fax to my credit union to have check sent overnight to them. Mr. Wells then seemed to add additional dealership fees that the deal as an attempt to discourage me from purchasing the vehicle. Mr. Wells appeared to do his best to discourage me from purchasing the vehicle because he had another applicant there already approved through Acura for financing. I felt devalued as a customer and as a previous employee of the company. I will never purchase from this dealership and will inform everyone that I come in contact with of my experience. I have purchased over five vehicles from Vandergriff Acura due to their awesome customer service. However, they did not have a vehicle that I was interested in at this time. I will continue to wait on the vehicle of choice from Vandergriff from this point on. More
