Ladies don't understand rear axle ratios?? I've purchased 2 vehicles at Good Brothers before from Pat McCarthy and been very happy. When looking for a 2020 RAM, I contacted him again! This wa I've purchased 2 vehicles at Good Brothers before from Pat McCarthy and been very happy. When looking for a 2020 RAM, I contacted him again! This was a disappointing experience. I knew what i wanted for towing my boat. In email correspondence 7/14/20, Pat suggested a different truck and I explained to him why that wouldn't work for me. Contacted him on Friday 7/31/20 to advise my husband and I would be there the next day to look at the truck we wanted. Upon arrival Saturday 8/1/20 Pat tried again, first off, to sell my husband the truck that I had already explained in email would not work for what we needed it for, despite his opinion of towing capacity. Asked to see the 2020 RAM V8 with 3.92 axle that i had specifically come to see, and he had to check if there was one on the lot??!!? There was, and even though Pat knew we were coming, it was across the street in the furthest corner. I'm a woman, but that doesn't mean i don't know what i want in a truck or what the specifications mean. I had most of the previous contact with Pat prior to our visit of 8/1/20 but all questions were directed to my husband, and Pat even excused himself from speaking with me when my husband went to the restroom. I felt very unheard and while we ended up buying the truck that day, I shouldn't have to convince the salesman to sell me what i want. Despite a ten year relationship where we drive up from Cape Cod to use your dealership, it wouldn't be one i considered for my next car purchase. More
