I always dread when it's time to replace my truck. I don't like the games most dealers play, but understand it's part of the process. Ram was offering great rebates, so I started looking again. After a very difficult visit to Quirk Ram in Boston, where they refused to sell the truck for the advertised price, they wanted $6,000 more than they listed it on the internet for and lied to my face about several points. I issued a complaaint with the Attorney Gen. consumer affairs dept. I found a similar truck at Good Brothers, where I had bought a truck from quite a while back. I got to Good Brothers 15 minutes before closing on Sat. afternoon. Greg told me not to worry about the time he'd stay as long as I needed. I'm not that type of person, so I made an appointment to come back the following Sat. morning at 8:30. I just asked that if they sold the exact truck I wanted, to please let me know, so I don't waste the 45 minute trip down there, as I didn't have interest in anything but that specific truck. Unfortunately, Greg texted me on Wed. and said they sold "my" truck. Although I was disappointed, at the same time I was impressed that a salesman would give me a heads up instead of just trying to get me back in the door again, good job Greg! The next day he sent me the window sticker of a truck he could get, if it was something I'd consider. I said I didn't want him to bring it in for me, but it was exactly what I wanted. He said it was another dealer wanting one of his trucks, so it was win/win for them and no pressure to buy if it's not something I decided that I didn't want. I show up 15 minutes after they open on Sat. and the truck is out front waiting for me. After a quick test drive, we headed into the office. We agreed on the price and the value of my trade in less than 10 minutes, after Tim came out and introduced himself, we shook hands, just like that.. This never happens with me, I've spent 3+ hours trying to get a great deal at other dealers! Jack was great and patient as well. Overall, I can't say enough about how easy Greg, Tim and Jack made this process. They were polite, professional and didn't waste any of my time. I honestly wish they were closer to my house. I will definitely reach out to them first, when it's time to get another vehicle! Thank you all! More
