I brought my Forester in for service and was told the cost would be almost $800. This was for a 30,000 checkup. I explained that I would be turning the car in no later than next June as the lease was e cost would be almost $800. This was for a 30,000 checkup. I explained that I would be turning the car in no later than next June as the lease was ending. I also explained that I had purchased a maintenance agreement and that a good portion of what they would be doing was covered under the agreement. The service manager came back and said it would instead be $109.95 and that I would have to leave it for the day but I was given a courtesy vehicle to use. At the end of the day I was notified that they did not have time to complete the service and I would have to wait until the next day to pickup my car. Wasn't too happy about this but I did still have the courtesy car. When I came in the next day I was checked out by a different service advisor who told me that the bill was over $800. I explained that the other advisor quoted me the lower price and was told the other advisor made a mistake. I understand that she was a new person. In any case, they did finally agree to charge me based on the rate quoted. But with the delay of a day and the time it took to get this issue resolved before I could pick up my car, I can only give 4 stars for this service. On another issue...I had requested to get a GOLD cleaning done next spring and wanted to book it far in advance. When I had the first GOLD cleaning done, I discovered that you had to book it a few months in advance. In this case I was surprised to learn that they were booked up for the next six months until June. Since I will be turning the car in around that time there was no point in having the cleaning done. If I had known when I leased the car that there was such a lengthy delay, I would have reconsidered purchasing the maintenance agreement, especially since the maintenance agreement doesn't offer any discount on the 30,000 mile inspection. BTW...my vehicle only had about 12,000 miles on it but I was told that it is 30,000 or 2-1/2 months into the lease...which ever came sooner. I think that when I sign a new lease next year. I will probably pass on the maintenance agreement. Thank you. More

Please w dealership but noticed a few challenges lately. A 20 minute wait to get inside and w appointment ahead of time. A 3 hour wait f oil change and tire rotation. Rob and Team exceeded all expectations. I ordered a car. Went home and completely changed the car. Rob rolled with it and changed the order. I expected to wait 8 weeks. I had the car in 3 weeks and Rob actually delivered the car. Went over options and answered questions. This is how buying a car is supposed to be. Wow- what a great experience! I love Subaru family cars and just stared my third Forester. I check dealerships for comparison and comb back to Goldstein Subaru, not only to buy a car but also to maintain it and keep in good shape. Forester. Very unhappy with the service I received. Never received any updates on the status of my car and it was held overnight without any notification. After multiple unsuccessful attempts to reach my service writer Lori, I called the SM Brandon and was unable to reach him. Finally, late in the day on day 2, the receptionist was able to track down my paperwork and inform me my car was ready. Again, no call or text form Lori. To boot, they never fixed the check engine problem. I understand they're busy, but a brief update call or text is not too much to ask. When I picked up my car, I was told it was parked in the first 2 rows out front. Nope! It was parked all the way in the back. More
