In general, great service. But, you walk into service department and no one acknowledges you. 4 desks when you enter front door of Service department. White haired lady next to outside door, looked up briefly several times and then right back down at her computer. 3 men at another computer, laughing and watching a video. A man doing paperwork never looked up from his desk. Another man was on the phone with a customer, He finished conversation and, because I was standing right in front of his desk, greeted me and was then very helpful. I watched this same scenario happen to 2 more customers that came through the front service door. No greeting. No "I will be with you soon". Customers standing up to 10 min, looking from desk to desk, without anyone acknowledging them. More

Walking into Goldstein Subaru (through the automatic front door, too👍🏼), I was welcomed pleasantly, immediately and with friendly faces that helped right away. Not the usual dealership entry experience—great! The showroom is large, bright, and well organized, not only with one of every Subaru model, but space to move and look around, too. Parking, entry, sales, service, and inventory. CHECK. Happy and warm welcome? Double check. Goldstein is worth a visit in this area, anytime! Highly recommended. More

They like to play games with their prices. Had a car listed at 10.9k and decided to switch it up on me after test driving it and bumped the price up 2k after they had to "put new parts in it" What they had it listed for originally when i test drove it should be the price honored. The sales lady knew my price limit. But they would not honor it. Would not budge. This is after I've been waiting days to see if another buyer was going to take it, wasting my time. Told me it was now available and by the way its 2k more. (mind you its listed at 11.9 online) manager acted like i was getting a deal. Quite the run around. Not family oriented. They do not care about customer satisfaction. Only money. On a 10 year old car that was overpriced. More

Within 48 hrs I had issues with the infotainment system, a problem that has plagued thousands of people and one I struggled with for 7 months with my previous 2018 Outback (which Subaru ended up buying back after I sued them). After several calls, Goldstein finally called me to say that Subaru had just released a new software update, I immediately drove down and they installed the upgrade. As soon as I walked out of the service Dept. and got to my car, I noticed that all the navigation buttons on the left side of the radio were frozen and would not allow navigation between home, map and apps menus. I went back inside to tell Brandon, the service tech that had installed the update and I asked to come out to the car. Unfortunately, when turned on the car the problem was no longer there. To make a long story short, this problem continued randomly for weeks, and I recorded the incident several times so they could see. I brought the car back and after a few days, they called me to say that they could not reproduce the problem and that I could go and get the car. I asked them to keep it a bit longer to see if the problem would come up. The next day I got a call stating that the tech went out to my car and found all the buttons frozen completely, just as I had described and shown in my videos. He said they would have to replace the head unit. A few days later, I went to get my car with the new head unit only to find as I was driving home that Starlink service no longer worked (one would think that after installing a new head unit they would call Starlink to ensure the customer would not have disruptive service), I also found that the panel below the steering wheel was hanging and was never properly secured under the steering column, very unprofessional and sloppy workmanship considering this is a $37K car and not some $500 old clunker. It was only a couple of days later that the buttons locked up again, my pre-set destinations were wiped out, and eventually, the navigation system stopped working altogether. The car only has 1300 miles and is only a couple of months old, and every time I have gone to Goldstein I have been made to feel like I'm the bad guy, just because I have politely requested that I'd be given a product that works as advertised. Instead, the sales manager, Chris Gardner, who was so friendly up until my check cleared, saw me sitting by the service dept. passed right in front of me and not even said hello, he has not replied to my emails or had the courtesy to return my calls except for the one time right after I bought the car. The service dept. sucks since every time I have picked up my car it was dirty, and the techs don't clean up after themselves, and they always made me feel uncomfortable as if they were doing me a favor instead of apologizing for the inconvenience they caused me. I understand they don't make the car, and that this is a problem thousands of people have, but how they deal with the customers AFTER they make the deal really shows their character, and in my book, THEY FAILED monumentally at every level. The only person who made an attempt to be helpful was the salesperson David Ballerstein, but even he stopped replying to my last email in which I asked for help, perhaps he was directed to not contact me. I now have a brand new car that I paid a lot of money for, and I have to rent a car to go on a trip because I have no navigation system that works. I went to Goldstein in good faith, and I chose to drive 20 miles each way to give them my business when I have another dealer 7 miles away. They put up a good front, and like most car dealers, they fooled me into believing they were different and would do the right thing before and after the purchase, but then after they had my money, they went out of their way to uphold the lousy reputation car dealers have, and I have to chase them down just to get my brand new car fixed. I bet that none of these people would ever tolerate what they expect me to tolerate if this happened to them. I REGRET EVER GOING THERE AND I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE. How they got the rating they have is beyond comprehension. AG More

Sales consultant, Joe Khattar, met us at the front desk to assist us. We told him the car we were interested in, what we had and what we owed on it. He asked how long of a loan we wanted and we told him 72 months, with 0 down, we just wanted to use the equity on the trade in. Joe took our keys and said he’d be back in 10 minutes. Prior to coming to the dealership, we had done our homework. The car we were looking at had $3017 of rebates for being a leftover, with a sticker of 41,925. Our car had a value of 19,500-22,000. Joe took about 45 minutes to return. When he returned, he showed us a deal for 38,908 for the 2017 STI and only receiving 18,000 for our 15 WRX. When I expressed concern with how little we were receiving for our car when it books for ~2,000 more, and I’d like to see 21,000 for it. Joe rebutted with that he was giving us the extra money in the rebates. I expressed to Joe that isn’t correct, that the 2017 is rebates because it’s a leftover. I asked him if he’d give us 21,008 for a 2018 and he said yes. I told joe that was essentially falsely advertising a leftover, that it’s discounted due to already having lost value compared to 2018s, regardless of being new. Joe changed the subject and asked where we got the value of our car from. We told him KBB and NADA and that we had it pulled up on our phones. Joe immediately said “read the fine print, auction prices are much lower”. Joe went on to state that our 2015 WRX had tires that were no good, brakes that needed replacing and was overall in poor condition. Our car is in pristine condition, there is not one scratch, dent, stain missing anywhere. The tires were new in June, 4000 miles on them, and the brakes have well over 75% life. I told Joe all of this. At this point, Joe said this is the best he could do, so I told him we wanted to leave. Joe went and got the sales manager who tried to tell a sob story about selling cars, rather than make a deal. We told them that we wouldn’t make a deal and wouldn’t waste any more time here and left. Joe Khattar’s title is “Master Peak Performer”. I don’t think this is accurate at all. Joe was very unprofessional, arguementative, and didn’t care to make a deal. I would not recommend Joe to anyone. I would not recommend Goldstein to anyone either. More

Wanted a sedan with a trunk that would hold a bicycle and 3 large suitcases. Patrick showed us the trunks in a 5 door and a 4 door. Wanting a 4 door, he suggested we bring the bicycle and see if it fits. He always thought it would. He was right. With the back seats down we are ready to transport bike and clothes to Florida. He spent a lot of time, letting us test drive a couple of cars, going over the features and the difference in price. He was friendly, knowledgeable and listened to us. More
