Hi Diane, Thanks for following up. I would like to name that your exact response was already sent to me privately on Dealerrater.com by the dealership in December in response to my post. When I received the private message, I reached out to the dealership and explained my situation. The end result was that I was offered roughly $50 off on my next service. This pithy offer did not make up for the dealer's blatant misrepresentation of the extent of the discount that I would be receiving back when I purchased the vehicle. I am not sure what you are trying to achieve by now posting the exact same message (that you already sent my privately months ago) publicly. You have my contact information and can always reach out to me if you would like to offer some other form of compensation for your dealership's dishonesty. In the meantime, I have already begun taking my car for its regular services (e.g. 25,000 mile check-up) at Nissan of Burlingame. You have definitely lost out on a customer.

Golden State Nissan knows exactly what happened in this case. For the past year and a half, I have tried to work with this dealership, only to be ignored. Initially, we sent a certified mail demand letter to this dealership, it was refused and sent back to me unopened. Obviously Golden State Nissan was not interested in the issues at hand. We then sent another letter explaining our intentions if this matter was not resolved.. In fact, I went to the dealership last year and talked to a person named Chris. He told me that the information I gave him would be forwarded to upper management and that they would get back to me, that never happened. I have been ignored from the day I discovered the illegalities. I sent numerous emails and messages through this dealerships website, but never to get a response. I ran out of options and now have the legal system involved. The dealership will be notified soon. You people have no idea, the heartache and emotional stress this issue has caused me. Starting this buying process with my trade in vehicle for a new vehicle and ending up with no vehicle at all is insane, along with all the negative credit reporting that resulted because of what this dealership did is wrong at every level. The initial agreed upon price of the new vehicle was not the price that was put into the very first contract. From the beginning, there was wrongdoings. The bottom line was that I was not going to pay on a contract that I did not sign, regardless of what was in the contract. The legal process will be upon us soon and we'll take it from there.

Let me add, the actions taken by this dealership and the lender in this case tells the whole story, in that I had no responsibility whatsoever to a contract that was not valid. But yet, in the end, I suffered major consequences because of it. When I discovered the illegalities, the issue should have been between the dealership and lender to hash out when I reported it. But yet, initially the lender claimed I was responsible and began damaging my credit file., which of course was wrongful. I started out as a consumer and ended up a victim, without a vehicle., in which I started out with one. How in the heck can that happen?
