He then said to me after asking my name in front of everyone in the dealership that he couldn't assist me because I didn't have good enough credit and dismissed me. He treated me horribly! Luckily I went to the Chrysler Jeep and Dodge Dealership in Paramus and I got a car for a great price. My sales rep there was absolutely amazing! More
The dirtiest dealership in the area! First off: how does Toyota allow a business like this to operate under their name? I had a deal in writing with General Sales Manager José Corniel First off: how does Toyota allow a business like this to operate under their name? I had a deal in writing with General Sales Manager José Cornieles. The next day I went with my uncle to do the paperwork because the loan (from Toyota Financial Services) on my trade is under his name. I told them that because of student loan debt, my credit score was not good but that my uncle's was excellent and that he would co-sign. These snake oil salesmen ran my credit only to come up with the excuse that Mr. Cornieles was not there to "sign off" on the deal and that the on-duty sales manager did not have the authority to do so. I should have 'listened' to the terrible reviews about this dealership on this great site and elsewhere. The first red flag should have been that the car I "negotiated" was advertised for a considerably cheaper price on a third party site. Guess what they did that same night... raised the price to be the same as on their site. I took the bait and they couldn't hit me with the ridiculous fees (including the $1395 for the pre-delivery inspection!) It was all a scam to lure customers into their shady "dealership." They should go into the business of selling fees instead of cars. Visit this place at your own risk. More
Purchase of 2017 Toyota Corolla My wife and I have purchased five cars (3 for ourselves and 1 each for our 2 daughters) from Glen Toyota in the last twenty years. All were "Pre-owned My wife and I have purchased five cars (3 for ourselves and 1 each for our 2 daughters) from Glen Toyota in the last twenty years. All were "Pre-owned" and we have been very satisfied with each of them. Before retiring I had commutes to and from work of 75 to 100 miles a day so we put a lot of miles on these cars. Out 3 performed excellently with routine maintenance. Our daughters also are pleased with their Toyotas. This time, we decided on a new 2017 Corolla. We first met with Steve Bawiec who took us on a test drive. He explained the new features in the '17 Corolla and answered all our questions. He was very professional and courteous. After helping us find the specific Corolla we decided to buy, we met with Mike Finn who explained the financial details. He also was courteous and professional We also met with a woman who showed my wife and me how to use the features in the car. I regret I forget her name but she was very knowledgeable, helpful and courteous to us. After being a customer of Glen Toyota for twenty years, I would go back there again the next time I need a car. More
Absolute worst service! I had a 7 a.m. appt for a job that should have taken 4 hours. Her willingness and expertise to ensure excellent customer service from the start will never be forgotten. Bruce overnight-ed the part I needed, and I was provided a rental car immediately. Jason and Andrew worked tirelessly and professionally to ensure I received my repaired vehicle on time. All of their calm, patient manners were a great help to me when my frustration was at an all-time high after my car was broken into. Their knowledge of the car parts and remarkable problem-solving abilities are rare indeed. If the quality of a dealership's employees is an indication of future success, then Glen Toyota has a very bright future. I highly recommend Glen Toyota!! More

Attentive and helpful I bought my third new vehicle from this dealership. Steve came out to meet me in the parking lot. We talked about what I was looking for and the concerns I had. I didn't expect to purchase a car that day; I was only going in to look at two models and get some information. Steve was so patient and helpful. We test drove 4 different cars: a Camry, a Corolla and 2 Prius's. I loved my 17 1/2 year old Camry but was convinced the new ones were too big for my small garage. We test drove the Camry all the way to my house to try out the size in the garage. I wasn't comfortable with the tight fit. When I was convinced I was ready to purchase but wanted to check the garage size again with the Prius, again we drove it to my house to check it out. Steve is the most patient and helpful salesman I have ever worked with. John worked with us to get the best deal and at the very end Mike finished up the deal and worked to get it registered and insured. All in all, this was the best car purchasing experience I've ever had. More
The worst experience a young woman can ever go through. I went on July 18th, to find a vehicle within my price range. My sales guy was Steven Bawiec and at first he was ok. Every vehicle the sales manager was requesting him to show me on the lot, was not there. So that was annoying. Then finally we found a 2009 Nissan Altima that was for $8,000, but Steve told me it was $9,000, and he had it written down on a paper for $8,000. A little sketchy....well we test drove it and it was ok. So I later gave a check deposit for $2,000. I was at the dealer for at least 3hrs and after we negotiated a price, which I still was not pleased with, it was late and after closing time, Steve the sales guy told me I was not approved yet and wouldn't know until the next morning. So I said well give me my deposit back and I will wait until I am approved. He said the sales manager takes the checks and was gone for the night. The next day I received a call from my auto insurance telling me that someone from Glen Toyota was trying to transfer my insurance onto the used Nissan Altima but they informed them they had no authorization to do that. so I called the dealership and talked to finance manager Bob Baran and told him I was very upset that someone would over step there boundary and try to call my auto insurance without my permission, especially when I have not been approved for the vehicle at the very moment. So then I told him I wanted my deposit back and will pick my check up after work. he said ok that's fine, and will inform the other finance manager because he would be gone by 5pm. so I got there on July 19th, 2017 @6:45pm, a young African American sales guy assisted me and told the finance manager I was here to see him. I waited for about 20 minutes and no one came to assist me, so I went back to the African American sales guy and told him I needed to see someone because I had somewhere to be. He told me to go in the front and see the general sales manager Jose Cornieles. I went in to see the General Sales Manager, and told him I was upset about the call being made to my auto insurance and also that I don't think I want to go forward with the car because after 5yrs of financing an 8 yr. old vehicle, it wont be worth it so I wanted my money back and plus I still was told I wasn't approved for anything. He said he apologized for that, and that he see in the computer I was approved, and went on to try and explain how he can get me a good deal for the Nissan. I told him I wasn't interested and just wanted my money back so I can find a car of my choice. he got hostile, called me "Ignorant" TWICE and after I asked him did he call me ignorant and to give me my money back, he flat out said "No I'm not giving you nothing back." I said oh you're not going to give me my money back, he said no I'm being ignorant for not letting him explain trying to show me I'm getting a good deal on an 8yr old car. so I said I will call the police and I will get my money back. as I was exiting his office, he then said you're a disgrace, yes a disgrace to me. So I called the police unit, they came and made a report and I will be taking this matter further. No one, especially a paying customer and female should be treated in this manner because they don't want to buy a car that is not of their liking. Also, there were 2 employees in the office at the time when the general sales manager Jose Cornieles was being disrespectful to me and unbecoming of an employee; they did not intervene and stop him from bullying me. So that says a lot about this dealership. More
