Camry = Great Car so far! And a very good deal. The reason I bought Toyota was because my 2008 corolla gave me so few problems after 196K miles beyond regular maintenance . Didn't want the extended warranty/service agreement on the Camry because I expect the same. Growing up I've owned an 88 Chevy Celebrity, 90s oldsmobile cutlass supreme, 2001 nissan sentra SE-R. These were all totally unreliable, and in some cases even dangerous, vehicles to own. I'm NOT a car guy. I think airplanes and road bikes are cool. I buy Toyota's because I don't want headaches. I don't like sitting around waiting for repairs. My new gray hairs had me skeptical of all the technology they pack into these cars, but I will say that rear view assist is great. There is a real panoramic view so that the camera can see oncoming traffic you can't with cars parked next to you. The lane assist a little jarring as it corrects your steering and I didn't expect that, so I turned it off. I do wonder how that works when the road is snow covered and the lane lines are invisible. The concern lies in the reliability in all these sensors and electronics. Time will tell . In any case As long as Toyota gives me few major headaches I'll never buy another brand. More
