i went for a normal oil change and tire rotation on my 2011 toyota tundra that was included when i purchased it. my appointment was at 9:00am. i arrived about 8:45am. my tundra was taken right in. i asked 2011 toyota tundra that was included when i purchased it. my appointment was at 9:00am. i arrived about 8:45am. my tundra was taken right in. i asked them to switch the drivers sidefront tire with the spare due to a cut in the side wall of the tire. the sevvice manager was very nice about it. i also asked for a price on a new tire. i informed them that i would be waiting for my truck. after almost 1 3/4 hours i asked the service manager about my truck and he took me in the service area and it was just getting done. this seemed a little long for an oil change and tire rotation to me. it seems if i was a paying customer it would have gotta done a little quicker. i go to a quick lube and get the same service in 20 minutesif i had to pay for the oil change i don't think i wouls waist almost 2 hours at the dealership. I was disappointed in that I stated at the time I made the appoinment for work,(5k service, rotate & balance tires, and replace the front rotor&pads,) that "I wanted to replace the front brake rotors. However, when I brought the car in for service the next morning, the brake pads had not been ordered. This ment that I had to being the car back in again so that the brakes could be fixed. In addition, I had to pay for parts up front along with the other items I wanted done. If I had not been in a position to come back in the next day, when would I have gotten my brakes fixed? Since Nov 2006 when I bought the car, my Camry has only been to Girard Toyota, Peterson Toyota in Lumberton NC, and Jiffy-lube(three oil changes only). I would think that if a customer with that amount of history says I need brakes and I want the rotors replaced, then the parts should have been ordered, so that when I returned the next day, all of the work I requested could have been completed on the same day. More

I was happy with the final terms of the agreement which was very close to the payment I had on prior car purchased at Girard. I did not want a bigger payment and Kerry worked it very close to what I wanted. (I did not want any extended warranties or anything else that the FI guy would try to sell me on the new Camry so I was happy not to have to sit with him. Some of those guys are good and you walk out of their office with a couple thousand dollars tacked on to the deal that you don't need on a new car). Since I will trade the car within two years, I didn't need the extras the FI guy would offer). Most dealerships would not allow you to bi-pass the FI guy. Hats off to Girard . Staff are nice enough, but customer service is wanting. If you make an appointment, be sure to call before you come in to make sure they have parts. My car was only able to be serviced by my third appointment, after coming in for no reason, and the next time calling a day before to find out the computer system somehow didn't capture my appointment or the parts I needed. Third time I came in they were able to service the car, but the driver for the customer drop-off was late. The person who ended up driving myself and a female passenger to work in different towns decided to drop the female passenger first even though he knew from the start I needed to be at work 30 min before her. In addition he had her sit next to him in the passenger seat, claiming it was company policy. Needless to say I made it to work late. Considering the work I had done was under warranty made the price right. Unless I have more warranty work needed, I don't think I'll be returning. More
This was a Toyota safety recall to replace, if necessary, the Engine Crankshaft Pulley. Since the work was going to take a few hours, your courteous driver took me home and later retrieved me. Your technicians provided me with a status report on my Sienna, pointing out several things that needed attention, one of which I was aware of, which I will review with the people who have been servicing my car which I bought used 2 1/2 years ago. As an architect who, several years ago, designed the conversion of the former Food Fair store on Colman Street for New London Motors, I was impressed with your new service department and with the obviously knowledgable personell you have staffing it. You will probably see me back in the future. More
I was greeted promptly upon arrival and my car was taken into service right on time. I got a full written report of what work was suggested, complete with prices, and at the end of service I got a report o into service right on time. The only thing it lacks is tea bags to go with the hot water. More
From the moment I arrived, the staff were most helpful and courteous. Ron was attentive to detail and communicated well what would be done. There were 2 recalls fixed and both were done as expected. I do have other options for servicing my Toyota, but as long as Stephen Pescatello and Lenny are there at Girard, I will not go elsewhere. More
I bought my Camry at Girard and have had a positive experience with service ever since. On a new car the service is free for 25,000 miles, so this has been a plus. I have over 20,000 miles on the car experience with service ever since. On a new car the service is free for 25,000 miles, so this has been a plus. I have over 20,000 miles on the car in less than a year with no problems, just routine service at 5,000 mile intervals. I would recommend buying your next car at Girard for the quality of the cars and service. More
