I had the worse experience at this dealership than I have ever had before. We were waiting to finalize our sale after having already negotiated a price for a new Honda Accord. My husband, myself, the sale pe ever had before. We were waiting to finalize our sale after having already negotiated a price for a new Honda Accord. My husband, myself, the sale person, and whoever he goes and runs to every time we counter all agreed. We were waiting for financing (we had our own, but had to sign all the paperwork), and someone else came up to us to tell us that there was a special package on the vehicle and they would need to add that $4000 to the price that we had already settled on. We said no, there is no way we are adding that much money to a price that everyone has already agreed on. Then someone else came to us and said we can give it to you for the price we agreed on, but you have to finance with us and your rate will be higher, but you can refinance in 6 months. Now, why would we finance at a higher rate and pay MORE for 6 months when it was not our mistake? We said no. Then later that evening the salesman calls me and tells me, you saw the package on the window sticker, I didn't see it. You knew it was there. Excuse me? Are you blaming me for your mistake? I did see the package on there, but I thought it was included in the price. Probably had something to do with the word INCLUDED written boldly, in all caps on the top of the page. That made me very angry. And when I said it was not my job to say you forgot to add $4000 to the price and I just wanted them to make it right. He says we did try to make it right by having you finance with us. That is NOT making it right for me, that is making it right for YOU. I was really disappointed especially since I had bought a vehicle from them in Jan. 2022 and had a great experience. I don't know what has changed since Jan of last year, but it seems like they just want to pull one over on you whenever they can get the chance. More
I took my 2013 Honda Accord in for a simple oil change. . It took about 2.5 hours. Watched as mechanics stood outside smoking and laughing. Many other customers were upset as well. Service advisor tried to . It took about 2.5 hours. Watched as mechanics stood outside smoking and laughing. Many other customers were upset as well. Service advisor tried to upsell me on having the timing belt changed, but my 4 cylinder has a timing chain. Horrible dishonest people. They will not see my car again. Trying to take advantage of people is not good for business. More
If there is one thing I cannot stand, it would be a pushy salesman. My fiancé and I went to Germain Honda last Thursday to look at one of their pre-owned vehicles, a 2020 Honda Accord. We were greeted by Bra salesman. My fiancé and I went to Germain Honda last Thursday to look at one of their pre-owned vehicles, a 2020 Honda Accord. We were greeted by Brandon Schilling, one of the sales people at the dealership. Brandon was knowledgeable, helpful, and most importantly, listened to our wants and needs. We informed Brandon that we really liked the car, but was not prepared to purchase a vehicle that evening, and that we wanted to get a preapproval from our own bank before we even considered purchasing. We asked Brandon for a card, and invited us inside and introduced his sales manager. I thought to myself "Oh, here we go, this tactic once again to try and lure us in to buy this car right now". Fortunately, I was mistaken. The sales manager (I wish I could remember his name) greeted us, asked how we liked the car, and began to print off information regarding the warranty (It was a certified pre-owned vehicle). Not once did they say "come join me in my office, let's take a look at numbers" or "what can we do to earn your business right today?". Nothing of the sort. They understood that we wanted to get preapproved first, and didn't try any of the typical slimy sales tactics that most sales people do. I informed them myself and my fiancé would discuss that evening, and let them know tomorrow. We left Germain Honda, and went across the street to look at another vehicle (I won't say which dealer, because it's not important to this review). With that sales person, we told them the same thing, and we wanted to get a preapproval first before we discussed anything. Less than 10 minutes after leaving that dealer and sales person, we were bombarded with text messages. Whereas with Brandon, he allowed us time to discuss and make a decision rather than trying to constantly contact us to sell us a car. So, after further discussion and preapproval from our bank, I went back to Germain Honda to purchase the vehicle. The process was smooth. All members of the sales team, including Brandon, were helpful and knowledgeable. Then it came time for the "dreaded" finance department. You've experienced this before, where the finance guy tries to sell you everything under the sun, and essentially tells you that unless your buy the extended warranty your wheels will fall off as soon as you leave the driveway? That wasn't the case with Germain Honda. I told the gentleman I was working with that I wasn't interested in the extended warranty, and he something like "okay, not a problem" and that was the end of it. I was in and out of that dealership in about 2 and a half hours. I have purchased vehicles outright with cash before, that took longer than that, and the dealership wasn't slow either, Brandon definitely got his steps in that day with all of the running around he did. All in all, it was a great experience, I actually left the dealership without the feeling that I got screwed over. Our next vehicle purchase will be at Germain Honda of Surprise, hopefully we will see Brandon Schilling there, but as a sales manager. More
Bought a new 2022 CRV a few weeks ago. Of course we would have liked to pay less but overall felt that we got a decent deal. Love the car. My little cousin went came in with all intentions of purchasing a vehicle. We found the car we liked and got to working the numbers, after reviewing the figures we noticed that there was an addendum on purchasing a vehicle. We found the car we liked and got to working the numbers, after reviewing the figures we noticed that there was an addendum on the car for a "Desert Protection Package" that includes Premium Window Tint, Door Edge guards, Lifetime Nitrogen and Premier Theft for a very clearly stated "Total additions not included in MSRP of $2890. They then explained that there was an incentive to finance with the dealership of a $1000. When reviewing the numbers, we noticed that they tacked on $2890 + the $995 again, when we called them out on it, they fixed it only to have the $1000 "finance rebate" to disappear. We spoke to the a couple of managers, and got hung up on when we started to make too much sense with why $1000 kept disappearing. The Sales Managers basically told us to go pound sand and have a good day. I understand the market conditions, and understand this Package includes A LOT of mark up that I was prepared to handle if it made sense. However, the management team instead chose to throw my cousin out and hung up on me for catching them trying to hide the additional $1000. IF YOU ARE LOOKING TO GET TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF YOU'VE REACH THE RIGHT PLACE. 0 CONCERN FOR THE CUSTOMER, 0 LEVEL OF RESPECT, AND SHADY AS SHADE CAN BE. If the General Manager is reading this, I hope you call me instead of one of the gentlemen that introduced themselves as Brandon, most disrespectful conversations that I've had with a manager in the 10 years that I've been in the same business. Worst experience ever!! I and others I have spoke with suggest no one ever waste your time and money at Surprise (Germain) Honda. According to Brandon, the Manager who shook hands with me late in the ev suggest no one ever waste your time and money at Surprise (Germain) Honda. According to Brandon, the Manager who shook hands with me late in the evening on a price, down payments, all terms... We were buying a car for my daughter & my wife wanted to Co-sign with our daughter. I explained the pain my wife has with a serious illness, but I could go pick her up and bring her back. Brandon said, no problem, they had to get it washed, etc. in the morning and we could come pick it up at noon. I said thanks and that we'll be here. My daughter and I received a text at 10 am the next morning saying they sold the car, but come on over and they will get us in something else. That was not good news nor was it honorable or ethical. They also had no cars to sell when we arrived. I can see why Honda does not give this dealership very many cars during this shortage. Anyway, I asked to speak with the owner, they sent over the Jason, the General Sales Manager, who was unshaven, not nice at all. He sat down saying too bad we can not earn your service! No interest in helping us, but rather cover for his lying Manager Brandon. A lot of lies involved. Sadly they are the very example of horrible service and people who do not care about others. They meet the stereotype that gives the car dealership industry a bad name in general. Oh, Manager Brandon said Honda Civics side mirrors are special because they have no blind spots? I looked it up... 100% LIE! Another Manager said they charge a Premium price for Honda's that are white in color as they are the most popular? I looked that up... 100% LIE! I spoke today with a very nice person who worked at Surprise (Germain) Honda, but left there due to the Managers teaching and telling their sales people to lie. Seriously, this is one dealership you should avoid at all cost! More

Provide better customer service by not selling a car you are in the process of buying to another buyer. Don’t trust them. They will lure you in under false pretense and then let you know there is no deal are in the process of buying to another buyer. Don’t trust them. They will lure you in under false pretense and then let you know there is no deal for you because they choose a more favored buyer. We felt discriminated by the staff and also watch out for your personal data such as social security numbers / they don’t have proper disposal of documents to protect their customers from identity theft. Absolutely do not recommend. More
