Go here first. Seriously, don't even bother with the other Subaru dealerships in the Chicagoland area. I live in the city and went to 3 other dealerships (one multiple times) before trekking out to Nap other Subaru dealerships in the Chicagoland area. I live in the city and went to 3 other dealerships (one multiple times) before trekking out to Naperville to buy my Subaru Outback. It was worth the trip. These guys will do everything in their power to get you the best deal. I crunched the numbers...I knew what my trade in was worth, what dealerships were selling it for, and what I thought was a reasonable amount to pay for a 2017 Outback. Not ONE of the other dealerships got me anywhere CLOSE to the payment I wanted. My salesman, Mike O'Brien, worked some kind of magic and got me to exactly the number I needed. It took a bit of convincing, but I never once felt pressured. I hate buying cars. The folks at Gerald made it easy. Driving the hour home in my new Outback I kept thinking, well that was almost TOO easy... and I was (and still am) incredibly happy with my purchase. Little details like stickers for my iPass, helping me transfer all my stuff from my old car (an hour after the dealership was closed), and mailing me the city sticker I forgot on my trade-in, set this dealership far above the others. Special shout out to the Business Manager finance guy, Jim Fischer, for working to get me an interest rate I couldn't refuse. Go here first. More

I have purchased all 3 of my Foresters from Gerald. Mike O'Brien sold me my 2019 and the process couldn't have been easier or more pleasant. Chuck and Colin have gone above and beyond time and again in taking care of my car's needs....from service to dings to buffing out scratches. They are pleasant and incredibly knowledgeable. I never feel rushed or pressured, and I value their experience and skills. I had several issues with my previous 2 Foresters (heat shield and transmission), but everything was fixed or replaced satisfactorily and I had no further problems. I truly appreciate the Gerald guarantee. So far the 2019 is running perfectly at a year old. This one I want to keep for awhile....maybe past my typical 60,000 miles. I couldn't be happier with Gerald Subaru. They have a customer for life in me. More

This is why as a Colorado resident, my wife and I purchased a new Forester Touring model from them and no where else. In short, they provided the exact vehicle we were looking for, at a price NO other local Illinois dealership or - in any other State could beat - and believe me, we searched. Their service was exceptional and I was able to forge this deal, while driving cross country taking our daughter to school. Thank you Cynthia, from Gerald internet sales whom, with her team, secured the very car my wife and I pursued. Cynthia's genuine care and honesty was such, that we put a deposit on the vehicle - sight unseen. After bringing our daughter to school and leaving her with our current Subaru Forester (Subaru Safety Second to NONE). We flew to ORD, and when you think things could not have gotten any better, we were greeted by Paulo, our point of contact salesman, who was simply amazing. Paulo's knowledge of our new high-tech vehicle was exceptional. In fact, he took us to a '5 star all terrain test drive facility' just minutes from the dealership, where we were able to experience for ourselves, the high-tech features of our new Forester Touring vehicle.
