Was here for my 65000 mile Maintenance and they kept me informed step by step as they went thru the vehicle. Oil change, rotate and even changed air filter as they showed me it was dirty. At 44 years old this isn't the first time i've bought a car from a dealership, however it is the first time I've enjoyed the experience. I recommend to anyone buying a car to ask for GREGG BONFIELD, the sales consultant who aided me with my purchase. Gregg is not your typical "car salesman", he is warm, friendly, courteous, LISTENS to what you ACTUALLY want.....and most importantly DELIVERS! For my wife to tell me she was glad we went to Fox Valley Ford, and Gregg was a first for me. Buyer Beware, Purchase from Here at Your Own Risk We've purchased two used vehicles at this dealership in the span of four months, and should have learned after the first one that it was a bad place t We've purchased two used vehicles at this dealership in the span of four months, and should have learned after the first one that it was a bad place to buy one. We were able to work out the kinks on the first one with the 'warranty' that was issued, but it was painful. The worst part of the experience was with the second car that we drove during the day then found after sunset the night of delivery that the lighting behind the speedometer on the instrument was inoperative. We called the dealer the next day to advise them and made a service appointment to address the issue. After bringing it in for the appointment, we're told that bulbs needed replacing at a cost of nearly $400. Really? We opposed this charge since we took delivery just a few days prior. The service folks, who were really in a bad position, spoke to sales. The sales manager pulled the 'as-is' argument for not dealing with it and told us we were on the hook for the fix. Same went for the general manager. I ended up fixing the car for the cost of the bulbs and 30 minutes of my time. Good riddance, Fox Valley Ford. I will NEVER do business with this dealership again. I should have learned the first time, but now I know. More

The energy in this place is so low they could be in an entirely different business and just be using the vehicles as decoration. Neither the salesperson or the manager seemed at all interested in selling us a vehicle. This was after we stated they didn't seem as if they wanted our business. I believe this dealership is out of touch with the car buying experience you get at most other shops. Buying a car is one of the more exciting things in life- it would be nice to have the seller be at least minimally interested. A minimal offer of some water or coffee would have been appreciated. We did get a good price for the vehicle without a lot of back and forth. I should add we had no trade in and had our financing in order- and it was a slow Monday. I would have thought they'd be enthusiastic, friendly, or at least smile at a minimum. Nothing went wrong, it was efficient, but also nothing positive to say. As about as exciting as buying life insurance. Would return to the dealer again for the pricing, but would have very low expectations otherwise. More
