BUYER BEWARE! FIVE DAYS AFTER DRIVING THE VEHICLE PURCHASED WAS NOT OPERATIONAL MEANING NOT DRIVABLE...BROKE DOWN... My brother was so excited when he found this 2016 GMC Acadia Denali back in Se PURCHASED WAS NOT OPERATIONAL MEANING NOT DRIVABLE...BROKE DOWN... My brother was so excited when he found this 2016 GMC Acadia Denali back in Sept 2020 it was everything he wanted or so he thought. He test drove it and checked it out and everything seemed to be working great with no issues. The salesman did not tell him any different... so he purchased the 2016 GMC Acadia Denali and drove it home. On the way home the vehicle was having issues so he called the dealership and they responded with, you have a warranty take it to your local dealership. Like everyone, he has a job so he was going to take it in on his next day off. He drove it maybe two days more so that would make it five days or less and the vehicle just stopped working. Mind you he was just driving it to and from work. He had a mechanic nearby diagnose the issue and come to find out they sold my Brother a LEMON...Damaged vehicle. The GMC Arcadia Denali was purchased with electrical issues which was caused by an aftermarket windshield that was not properly installed...which caused water to flood the electrical system in the vehicle. I don't know how long the dealer had this vehicle sitting on his lot but I know it rains quite a bit in Florida and I also know the dealerships wash their vehicles often to keep them nice and clean for customers and I also know once purchased they give the purchased vehicle a quick wash prior to releasing it into the new owners hands. Can you imagine all the damage just that alone caused a vehicle electrical system if not properly protected. IRRESPONSIBLE! and you would think that this dealership should and would be held responsible right... WRONG! They basically were not admitting fault and just strung my brother along and beat around the bush to make him think they were trying to resolve the situation. In reality they were just stalling for time until they could not be held liable. Never even offering to try and fix or offer any solution and would be equivalent to what he purchased or paid. Meanwhile, my brother was waiting patiently trusting the system and the company... Now several months later still trying to resolve this issue with the owner, Justin Moore...and they have basically said he purchased it so now it's his problem. EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL dealership who should take pride in being able to to be a representative of an American Made company like GMC Chevrolet. George Moore Chevrolet should be ashamed of themselves and GMC should not stand behind this dealership. DO NOT BUY FROM GEORGE MOORE CHEVROLET. More
