Elian was great about getting me checked in and my vehicle sent back. It is a little rough when you have a 130 oil change and wash appointment and it's after 4 when you get to leave. I recently brought my car in for a diagnostic, which cost $180. The service writer estimated a transmission replacement would cost over $7,000. However, I sought a second opinion and have since been driving my car without issues. If the transmission was indeed faulty as initially claimed, it's unlikely I'd be able to drive the car safely. I feel misled and believe the initial report was inaccurate, as the issue wasn't properly investigated. Here's a rephrased version: “I've consistently taken my car to Chevrolet for servicing, but my recent experience was disappointing. Despite being told my transmission needed replacement, evidence suggests my car wasn't properly inspected. The screw that secures the transmission fluid reservoir was still closed, and the transmission dipstick hadn't been removed to check the fluid level. I'm extremely dissatisfied with the service I received and feel misled by the false claims. As a result, I will not recommend Chevrolet's service department to anyone. More
