I did not feel like a valued customer. No one communicated well. John was incredibly rude. If you ask him a question he acts like it is a bother to answer. 1. Oblivious of your time and commitment. Car was checked and diagnosed 5/29/23 Memorial Day, alternator problem. The advisor said parts would be delivered 2-3 days and told me to call back Thursday, 6/1/23. and diagnosed 5/29/23 Memorial Day, alternator problem. The advisor said parts would be delivered 2-3 days and told me to call back Thursday, 6/1/23. So I called him and inquired, then he said he'll check and.would get back to me in a few minutes but no call back from him. So I called again Friday, 6/2/23, and finally got a.call back and was told the part came in but it didn't work. He said another part is coming from Houston. I told him that I may drive back Saturday, 6/3/23 so I could return the car I borrowed from my sister-in-law and pickup the.car Monday, 6/5/23. Again I called him Saturday morning, 6/3/23 to verify and to get an update before driving down from Dallas to Galveston. He then told me that the mechanic is working on another car and to call him back Monday 6/5/23 around noon time. After I spoke with him I decided not to drive since I already doubted if my car would be ready by Saturday or Monday. I'm so glad that my sister-in-law is so patient and understanding. Monday, 6/5/23 came so I called after 12pm but no one picked up but was able to speak to him after my 2nd call at quarter to 2pm. He said he'd call me back in a few minutes but didn't even bother to call back. Then I got a call from him after 3+ hours and only after I sent an email to their management and corporate office. His first query was about my email and why I did that and he even blamed it on his supposed hundreds of customers. Still a promise is a promise. He didn't even consider my 4+hour drive from Dallas to Dickinson had I decided to drive that weekend only to drive back and had to work that same night with no rest or sleep. Would have been my worst experience with this KIA service center. 2. It took them 10 days to fix my 2019 KIA Sorento: 1st alternator ordered was defective then the 2nd one was wrong part so had to wait for the 3rd one per service advisor. 3. Courtesy inspection was not done. Engine oil and coolant we're too low. Usually the fluids were topped off during service or would recommend some service such as the oil being too low had it been checked. 4. When I picked up my car, again the advisor washed his hands from the delayed service laid blame on the defective andwrong parts that came in, and even asked to give him the perfect score. Nice. Gay Family KIA service and KIA or parts departments, please make sure your parts are not defective and don't send any wrong parts because your advisor will get you in trouble. More
