We first arrived at Gary Rome Hyundai on Saturday the 26th looking to purchase a 2012 Sonata. We chose to go to this dealership because I had previously purchased my Santa Fe in 2006 from this dealership 26th looking to purchase a 2012 Sonata. We chose to go to this dealership because I had previously purchased my Santa Fe in 2006 from this dealership and I was pleased at that time with the service offered. We also worked with the same salesman that I had previously dealt with. We discussed what we wanted and he took us out for a test drive. Everything was great up to this point, then we sat down to discuss the numbers. We informed him of our trade (a 1995 Ford Contour that was not in great shape). We discussed prices and his exact words to us were: "If I can meet your offer of $19,000 will you come back tomorrow at 1pm with your trade in so we can finish everything up?" We said yes as this was the offer that we wanted, $19,000 for a 2012 Sonata with the basics. We then arrived on Sunday the 27th at 1pm with our trade in ready to do business as previously planned. He took the trade in and got it appraised while we took another car out for a test drive. Once we got back he was all done appraising the trade in and it was time to get all the finishing touches done. Needless to say we had no idea they had pulled a bait and switch tactic on us. He sat down with us and started off with : okay so we are at $20,900 and with your loyalty award and trade in that will be $20,400 plus sales tax and registration, etc. We were blind-sided. We asked what happened to the deal we had agreed upon yesterday and it was no longer even a consideration. He said this is what we are offering no negotiation on price. They then tried to say we could negotiate on the demo car that we just tested that wasn't even the same color or specifications that we wanted. We then decided to go elsewhere and when we got up and left he didn't even have the courtesy to shake our hands but did say good luck finding what you want elsewhere, let me know how it goes. We then went to Lia Hyundai in Enfield, CT. We had great service, great price, and they did not try to play games with us or pull any other illegal tactics like bait and switch. We will never go back to Gary Rome Hyundai and we don't recommend that dealership to anyone else. If you want the best service from Hyundai then go to Lia Hyundai, we did as did several other of our friends. More

Dave treated me with respect, unlike the previous dealership I had dealt with. Dave is now my go to guy in the Service Department. Whenever I go in for service he greets me as family. Thanks Dave, you are by far the BEST! Recently my husband and I decided we were going to buy two new vehicles and the first thing I did was ask Dave if he could recommend someone on the sales staff. As always Dave came through for me. I was introduced to Mark Baron and the fun began. Literally Mark made our car buying experience fun. He is very knowledgeable and took all the time needed to find out what each of us was looking for and then explained our options. Needless to say we bought two new 2012 Tucson’s and we are loving them. I will refer all of my family and friends to Mark Baron and the great staff at Gary Rome. My friend bought his Santa Fe from Gary Rome and he introduced me to Jim Wright, who keeps his vechicle in tip top shape. Jim refered me to Gary Rome and assured me they would have the car that would fit me. I then pre-qualified online, with the help of Rick (internet dept). Upon arriving at Gary Rome, in Holyoke, I was greeted by Jim and Rick. I then met Mark Baron who helped me select my 2010 Hyundai Accent. I was comfortable, not pressured and informed. We talked about mileage, dependability and history of the car and others like it. Mr. Baron then introduced me to Jessica O'Shaughnessy who helped me make the payment decisions that were right for me. My overall experience was great and I will be refering my family and friends to Mark Baron and the friendly staff, at Gary Rome , in holyoke. More
Allthough the dealership is a hour from my house, I decided to visit Gary Rome Hyundai because it was the only dealership in the area that had a fully loaded Marathon Blue Veloster. I was impressed with the way Bill Watt and the business manager showed me all of the numbers in the lease. They stayed late on a Saturday to take care of all of the paerwork involved and they even delivered the vehicle to my house on a flatbed so I would not have to travel so far. The entire experience was great from beginning to end. If you are looking for a Hyundai, I would strongly suggest checking out Gary Rome Hyundai in Holyoke, MA. More

I had such a great experience at Gary Rome. I really just went in to "look" but then fell in love with the new Sonota Hybrid! Keith took the time to let me drive multiple different vehicles to make sur just went in to "look" but then fell in love with the new Sonota Hybrid! Keith took the time to let me drive multiple different vehicles to make sure I was testing all my options (it was hard to think of going from a V8 to a hybrid!) I have been waiting for almost two months for a decision to be made on a repair to my automobile which is still under warranty. Carlos Rivera, the service manager, does not return any of my calls. I contacted Hyundai's Customer Connect and was told they spoke with Mr. Rivera and I was to contact him to set up an appointment for the district service manager to view my car in person. I left a message on Mr. Rivera's voice mail two days ago which he has not yet responded to. I can't set up appointments with a man who never answers his phone or phone messages. The warranty on the repair is about to run out. I am beginning to think this is a stall technique to avoid covering the cost of the repair. This is a very poor way to do business. I will not buy an automobile from this dealer in the future, nor recommend this dealer to anyone else. More
