Unexpected Trade-In for New Subaru Last February 2014 Garavel Subaru sales consultant Miles Shapiro called our home. He must have been data mining because he noted our 2011 leased Fores Last February 2014 Garavel Subaru sales consultant Miles Shapiro called our home. He must have been data mining because he noted our 2011 leased Forester was adding up the mileage. I shared that I use the car as part of my job as Director of Philanthropy at The Nature Conservancy; my Forester -- at the time my third Subaru -- never let me down in my many travels. I loved that 2011 Forester. Even so within a week I drove out with a new 2014 Forester. A week earlier I had no intention or even thought to trade in the car. Miles is an untraditional sales consultant, and I mean that in a very good way. He is also an exhibiting artist and brought a special dimension to the car sales experience that made it quite enjoyable. We did not take the car he suggested (even though he worked out a really good deal) because we preferred another. Despite the extra work, he went the extra mile to make everything work by the end of the month. In the weeks that followed he checked in regularly to ensure our satisfaction. So we are on our fourth Subaru in our 33-year marriage. We'll be on our fifth, I am sure, and we will definitely call Miles and Garavel.
