All the information they told me over the phone about the 2-year-old car was not true. I spoke directly with the Sales manager to be sure that I got all the correct information before driving two hours to this place. The options they advertised through the phone were NOT what I saw after driving two hours. The dealership lied about the carfax incident reported for this car. I was told that there was a very small paint job done on the rear bumper. When I saw this car, it was very clear that it was NOT factory painted. I am sure it was a major accident and the car should be selling for much less. After I confronted the sales person about this he completely lost interest. I feel very sorry for people who will trust this dealership. You should really stay away from this place if you do not want to be taken advantage of. More

We hadn't planned on making a purchase that very day but ended up doing so and are very pleased we did. All the staff at Subaru so far have been nothing but cordial and pleasant and we hope this is the start of becoming a loyal Subaru owner for many years to come. He sat with me and discussed what was available and my options. Long story short, within 2 hours Jose Marin shopped around for financing and got me a great deal on a 2008 Lexus ES350. We bought our first Forester there 6 years ago and when we were in the market for a new car, back we went. They are friendly, have a great service department, and always have been good to us. Most important, they were able to get me the car I wanted at the best price I could find (and I got many quotes from other dealers). My salesperson, Trish, was very friendly and helpful and guided us through the process quickly and efficiently. I was able to take care of much of the negotiating and details by email or phone which saved me a great deal of time and I liked a lot. Very pleasant experience I never heard of Garavel Subaru until I paid a compliment to person parking a new Outback next to my car. The first words that came out from that person were compliments to the Garavel's team. I live in Brooklyn, NY and I have plenty of choices of dealerships around but they are either arrogant or their staff is not knowledgeable or both. Hence, of all the choices, I chose to go to Norwalk. At Garavel I found refinement, customer attention and respect, and above all, absolutely fantastic car that fell perfectly into my budget and timeline (there was a 9 week wait because of the color and options). Joe Zebro was "the guy" who deserves the credit. Special Thanks to Chaim Torheim for efficient paperwork on the day of delivery.
