Called Galeana at 5pm and had an upgraded car for nearly the same price the other dealership quoted for a lesser model. Drove off lot with my new Dodge Grand Caravan by 9pm. Alex was great, no pressure, no BS and very realistic with my expectations. Only knock on them was when I took it in for the detail (too late when I bought it to knock it out), they didn't top off the gas. Detail job was great. I've bought 5 cars and this was the best experience I've had on the sales side. When the car was being detailed they gave me a loaner for the time I was out of the car. Great experience. Will buy from them again. Hopefully I can buy my Jeep from Alex too. More
"A GOOD DEAL" I recently visited the Galeana used car dealership and purchased a 2010 Ford Transit Van. The original price I agreed to with the salesman Derek was $ I recently visited the Galeana used car dealership and purchased a 2010 Ford Transit Van. The original price I agreed to with the salesman Derek was $13,888 and after the trade in of $3000 which brought it down to $10,888 which is what he indicated what I would be financing on. I asked at that time if that included the payoff off $1850.00 for the remaining amount of my trade-in at which time he said yes and that would have totaled my trade-in at $4,850. I had two other people with me when making this deal and we were all under that impression and I even asked Derrick if it was the $3000 + $1850 when we shook on the deal. I even confirmed this with Juan the finance salesman at the time of having to quickly sign the contract because they were so busy and we had been waiting so long. So when I got home after being their several hours I looked at the contract again only to realize they took the payoff amount out of the $3000 trade-in and bundled it back in the total amount of the vehicle. I was also disappointed with the overall condition of the van. For example, the van's power door locks did not work. Chick the sales manager on duty told me that because of the lowered offered price, which was the advertised price, that the dealership would not fix it, even though the vehicle was advertised having power locks and remote entry on the window sticker. To add, it was never disclosed to me before I test drove the vehicle. To circumvent this issue, we had asked in good faith that they at least provide us with an estimated cost to fix it. Their service department was closed because it was Saturday afternoon so they could not provide any servicing of the vehicle. The condition of the van was dirty and the driver seat was not even attached which simply took me a minute or two to do. The coolant levels on the overflow tank were low as well. The van was offered at a good price but I do not think that it warrants the condition that van was provided to me. I was ok with this at the time because the deal I thought I was getting made me look past it but now that I paid full price essentially once they make the profits on my trade-in Of course once I realized this deal was not what I thought it was I called the salesman Derrick immediately to address it at which time he told me my car was not worth what I was thinking I was getting in the deal. My trade in was a 2008 Kia Rio with 29k miles in great condition which I cleaned detail and serviced just before dropping off. Eventually after arguing all this into light he tells me I will have to go in to talk management to address the bad deal. The next day I call and talk to Steve who is the sales manager and I explain what has happened with this deal and I wanted to find out why they deal had the payoff bundled back into the loan and all he had was that they went it over it with you blah blah blah. At this point I am just trying to level the deal because of the door locks and condition and asked they take care of those things because of the undervalue price trade in allowance they put on my car. He said they would take care of it at which time I hear someone (I believe it was Derrick) in the background saying I was lying about it. I let him know I heard him call me a liar so he proceeds to tell me bring it in and they will take it to a different location to repair the wherever they had to take it because it was a Ford to get the door locks fixed and that they would split the cost to repair or if the repairs were to high I could back out. I do appreciate that he would do something but to say they will split the cost of repair after the fact was just another slap in the face. At this point the whole deal just left me wanting to get out of the deal entirely so we decided to drive back up on Monday after I had talked to Steve over the phone. So I go in and I am greeted by some salesman and I ask to speak to whoever and finally realize I'm talking to Steve the sales manager and I tell him based on how this whole thing went down I wanted out of the deal. So we go round and round about the deal at which time he looked at the paper work and he could not even find the buyers order in the paper work. Long story short I get nowhere with him and was told I wasn't owed anything and that because I told him my wife was the primary on the deal that he didn't legally have to talk to me, not realizing I was the co-buyer. Once I brought that fact to light and questioned his customer service he began back peddling and apologizing mind you my wife was standing right next to me. Eventually he told me there was nothing he could do and that I would have to return in the morning to deal with the business manager and the salesman. Not to mention he went on to say I had remorse for selling the car. OF COURSE I HAD REMORSE YOU BOUGHT MY CAR FOR $1850 LESS THAN WHAT I THOUGHT I WAS GETTING FOR IT! I had looked at the blue book dealer trade in and it is valued between $5200-$5800 I realize now after my first time buying from a dealership to never take their word on anything because essentially that's what I did and I got burned. I can own the fact that I didn't read the sales contract entirely because I felt I could trust these salespersons to do what they had agreed to do. I did notice the numbers on the paper work and when I questioned it they said that was how they had to show how they got to that number. At which time was when I asked what I got for my car total trade-in value from Juan and he said "$4850." The kicker in the whole thing is I bought this van to start my new business and you would think that would make the dealership have more integrity in the deal. Bottom line is the pen is mightier than the sword. Unless something changes I vow I will never buy from another dealership again and I will tell anyone and everyone who will listen to my story how I was lied too, stolen from and sold a subpar used vehicle from Galeana’s used car dealership. STAY AWAY I hate ever bashing a company, because I understand we all need jobs. This company I can NOT recommend to anybody. Negotiations are impossible, and no I hate ever bashing a company, because I understand we all need jobs. This company I can NOT recommend to anybody. Negotiations are impossible, and not even worth the headache. They kept warping the numbers to where, in the end, it wasn't any cheaper, and then acted like I didn't understand. I look at the bottom line price, and at one time it even went up, prompting me to leave, and purchase elsewhere just hours later. If you want a Wrangler go to Beach Buggys on Daniels. They were AWESOME! Super relaxed, gave me more for my car than any other dealer offered, and negotiated prices fairly, and showed you a detailed listing of what and WHY the prices were what they were. Another thing that threw me off was how the employees talked about their customers. The first day I was there I overheard a frustrated salesperson that was annoyed because their customer wouldn't commit to anything, and actually buy. Vehicles are a HUGE purchase, of course people are hesitant. On my way out on my final visit I heard them tell somebody else I was leaving, and they were acting like I was an idiot for doing so. I am extremely laid back. I am probably the easiest customer ever, but maybe they read that, and tried to screw me. Oh well, in the end they didn't get a deal, and I wont EVER be able to recommend them. More

I was met by Robin, who told me that the Truck was sold the night before and tried to sell me something else. I asked why no one called me while I was driving and was told that it wasn't noticed until right before I got there. I believe they tried to bait and switch me, Shame on them. The total labor was over $900 which seems extremely high, otherwise all other areas get an excellent rating. Thank you for your efficiency and excellent customer service. otherwise all other areas get an excellent rating. Thank you for your efficiency and excellent customer service. More
I was interested in leasing a Jeep Wrangler. I knew exactly what I wanted. It was just down to color and options that I couldn't find at another dealer. I knew exactly what I should be paying for the v exactly what I wanted. It was just down to color and options that I couldn't find at another dealer. I knew exactly what I should be paying for the vehicle as well. We met with a very friendly Sales associate, Ken, who was new to this dealership, but had been in the business for about 30 years. We told him to get his best pricing, as we didn't want to negotiate, and told him $0 down, nothing..nothing out of our pocket, all should be in the lease deal. They came with a very reasonable offer. I offered, very quickly, no haggling. I even spoke with the finance guy, because I wanted to use my tag, but I didn't have it with me. He explained that I should just get the new tag as it is already worked into the deal I approved, it will not cost me more. I have perfect credit, so I knew i would be getting the best deal. They told me it would take about 1/2 or so to get the deal done. I went to lunch while waiting and received a call from my sales rep that it was all ready. I came back, ready to sign and drive off. I was told to wait in an office. Richard Cecil came in, who is the new Sales Manager. He basically went through this dissertation about fees, costs, etc. Bottom line, he now said I needed to pay up front fees of about 2.5 times the monthly payment. We told him that this was UN-ethical, as we already signed the approval formed. As we started to walk out, telling him they lie, he abruptly told us "we had 3 seconds to get off his lot" and that he was associated with the Lee County Sheriffs office. In my life, I have never been treated like this. It was a total bait and switch. Everyone in that dealership knew the deal I wanted. I have purchased and leased many many cars over the years. Mr. Cecil actually approved my deal before I signed, then came back telling me I owe money upfront...and blew up when I said he was being un-ethical...AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP More
I have purchased many cars, but this one took the cake. It was an absolutely horrible experience. They did the whole bait and switch on a 2011 "New" Optima SX. First off, when asked about miles, the sales It was an absolutely horrible experience. They did the whole bait and switch on a 2011 "New" Optima SX. First off, when asked about miles, the sales manager said "oh it has about 200". I get to the dealership, and it has roughly 700?? Ok fine, I will be able to get a good used price (because at 700 miles, it is used. Period.). So dealer gives me a little higher price than I wanted, but I bit the bait and went in to see Darren Doar. I went to the dealership about 2-3 times to ask random questions, just to make sure this would be the purchase for me. The first visit went great. The next few just went SEVERELY downhill. I have my loan approval in hand (did not want to finance through these weasels), and went down to the dealership. I called my wife and 2 kids (who, at that point, were about 45 minutes away from the dealership), and tell them to head over so sign some docs. I get the bill of sale, and they are charging for flood mats, cargo nets, and whatever else they could add to the bill of sale. I demanded that these items are to be removed, as I do not care for these at all. The sales manager stated "it is built into the MSRP". Really? Ugh. Now, for the best part. I told Mr. Doar on the very first visit (within 5 minutes of meeting him), I wanted the tires from my RX8 ($300 ea) and have them put on the Optima. The Optima had the stock RX8 size, so it would not have been a problem for fitment. He says to me on our test drive "oh yeah, oh yeah, not a problem, we can do that!" Meantime, dealer tests my car and gives me his "so-called" value of my trade. Talk about low-balling. Anyway, when I went to sign the docs for the car, the bill of sale stated nothing about the tire swap, after repeating to him at LEAST 5 times that I wanted this done. I told him AGAIN, and this time he was like "uh, let me ask my manager". Both him and the manager rush out to see what kind of tires they were. He came back and said no, and that the trade in price included the price of the tires. Yet, they ran outside to see what type they were? Worthless. I continued to have my letter of loan approval facing him the entire time, and said that this deal will be dead if I do not get the tires. They said no, so I happily walked out. Then he had the nerve to tell me to contact him if I reconsider, in one of the snobbiest voices I have ever heard. They not only wasted my time (which I can sacrifice), but my wife and 2 kids (total time cost, 2 hours). How embarrasing that I had to tell my wife to turn around after packing 2 kids up to come to this worthless dealership. Anyway, I went to JT's Kia instead. They gave me a GREAT price and a great value of trade. I got everything that Galena was going to offer, but for $3000 less! Do not waste your time at this joke of a dealership. More
Galeana Chrysler is an "independent" dealer and as such does not have to honor the warranty offered by Chrysler Corporation. Michael Jackson, the Service manager repeatedly lied to Chrysler and the as such does not have to honor the warranty offered by Chrysler Corporation. Michael Jackson, the Service manager repeatedly lied to Chrysler and the BBB regarding a service problem I encountered. He made claims that were untrue and put words in my mouth without ever having met me prior to my complaint. They serviced my Town & County van (69K miles) due to a Transmission problem, said they had to order a part, it was okay to drive in the meanwhile and that they would notify me when the part arrived (this was from their service advisor Dyson). They never got back to me and when I phoned them about a month and a half later, they said the part was never ordered. The following day, the transmsion totally went and my wife and I were stranded on Alligator Alley. Jackson, who I'd never talked to until that day, claimed that it was my responsibility to contact them to see if the part had arrive and that it had arrived and since I didn't call them it was my problem, not theirs. This was new to me since in the past, Galeana service had sent out post cards when parts arrived plus I was told a day earlier that the part had never been ordered. Then he told Chrysler that I had admitted to driving the vehicle when I was instructed not to (another total bald faced lie). When I contacted the BBB he told them that I took the vehicle before they were finished with it (another lie). Not one honest word came from this mans mouth. I can't even imagine what kind of influence someone of such poor morals would have on his family. Chrysler would not help me beacuse they said that Galeana was an independent dealer and the decision to honor the 70K powertrain warranty was theirs (Galeana's). If you think buying a Chrysler because of their warranty is a good deal, guess again. You will be screwed by Chrysler, Galeana and in particular by their unscrupulous service manager Michael Jackson. In the end, I had to have my van towed to a dealership on the east coast of Florida and rent a car to drive back to my home in Cape Coral Florida. It cost me about $3000 by the time I finshed paying for rentals and repairs. I wouldn't buy a stick of gum from Galeana. More
