I love this dealership. I started going initially because they were able to help me open a gas cap that was stuck on Christmas eve, when I had no where else to turn and was on empty. Ever since, I've went back for oil changes on my used Ford. Travis always finds a way to squeeze me in for that last minute oil change - even when I call at the last minute and the indicator light says zero oil life left. Nothing like waiting till the last minute, right? He understands, life is hectic. This last time, after receiving a flyer in the mail that they were offering 125% of the value of my used Ford against a new vehicle purchase, I thought I would check it out during my regular oil service. To my great surprise, Christa and Justin were able to find financing and put me into a brand new car of my choice for a payment that was only a few dollars more than what I had been paying on my 2006! Amazing. So, I went in for an oil change on a car that was older...I had bought at a buy here pay here lot and gotten a horrible financing deal on - even though the car was nice....and Christa and Justin at Shenandoah put me into a much better position with a 3 year bumper to bumper warranty brand new car that I absolutely LOVE for only a few dollars more than I was already paying. Now, I have security, peace of mind, and the gas mileage of my new car is running about 40 mpg vs the 18 mpg I was getting in my old car! So I'm really saving money every month now! I could hug them! More
After visiting the Ford booth at the NYC Auto Show I was given an invitation for a $50 Ford test drive Gift Card. Even though I was leaning heavily towards buying a new Honda or Mazda, I figured it was at least worth the $50 to try out a Ford. I was greeted at the dealer by Ashleigh Kimmons who was gracious enough to stay after hours to allow me to test drive a 2013 Ford Focus as I was not aware I arrived so close to their closing time. He was one of the friendliest and lowest pressure salesmen I have ever dealt with, allowing me to concentrate on evaluating the car over a lengthy drive. This allowed me to conclude that the Focus drove far above my expectations. Being a Costco Member, their website automatically gave my contact info to a number of other dealers. They naturally hounded me with competing prices and offers. I did visit one other local Ford dealer in my search as well at other brands. As far as Ford was concerned, the other dealer was your typical "smooth operator" ready to do anything for me...except quote me a price! All they did was reinforce my positive view of Shenandoah Ford and Ashleigh Kimmons. Also helpful was their website which was kept so up to date that one evening they listed the exact color and model Focus I was looking for as "dealer ordered" and as soon as it arrived updated the site to reflect that. So quickly in fact that when I got to the lot it was only recently taken off the truck and unprocessed. I informed them that as soon as it was available I wanted to purchase it. The following day Ashleigh called me, and even though I was out of state was able to help me leave a deposit and hold the car until I returned home to complete the deal. From there it was smooth sailing as everyone at the dealership was friendly, explained all the cash back rebates and gave me the price I was looking for. It was a pleasurable buying experience and the most I have ever saved off the sticker price on a new car. I would highly recommend this dealer and especially Ashleigh Kimmons as he was a pleasure to deal with. More
I work for Sherwin-Williams, and we use all Ford products in our Fleet. When my wife wanted to look at Chevrolets, I insisted that we should also look at what Ford has to offer. I was pleasantly surprised to discover that Ron Nicholson now works at Shenandoah Ford. Ron is one of the most honest guys I know. I always feel like he is being straight forward with me and in no way misleading or deceiving. I really like his no hassle way of selling cars and how willing he is to make sure, we get what we need. We test drove 4 vehicles and I know if I would have wanted to test drive 4 more, Ron would have been happy to do it. The dealership is clean, big, and is staffed by knowledgeable employees that really enjoy giving great customer service. If Ron is still selling vehicles when I need my next one, I will absolutely buy it from him. More
Everyone was very friendly; all smiles. No one seemed bothered with us as they do at some dealerships. We were told to take our time with the test drive, there was no rush. We had gone into this dealership with the mindset of visiting many that day. The second car we test drove with Ron was the one we ended up buying. Friday to drop off my Fiesta for service, was looking at the C-Max. Frank asked if he could be of any help, I stated no and he left it at that. I came back the next day to pick up my Fiesta, while waiting for last minute work on my Fiesta I was looking at a Ford Focus. Franks approached and I had a few questions on the Focus. From that poi t, we satartes the paperwotk and a short time later I was in my 2013 Focus. All I can say is Thank You for not using high pressure sales tactics, I would have left quickly. My 2011 Fiesta was fine, not as roomy as a Focus, but for adequate for a daily commuter car. More
