My new truck search began like most people by asking - thomaswillhughes
My new truck search began like most people by asking Kelly Blue book on-line what my current 2017 Ford F-150 Lariat was worth. Not too disappointed by the estimate I was surprised by the almost immediate inquiries by the local car dealers expressing interest in acquiring my truck. One of those dealers was Front Royal Ford a Ms. Caitlyn Smith contacted me by email stating that when I was ready, as the Sales and Leasing Consultant she would be glad to introduce me to their sales staff and work out a good price for my used truck and a new 2026 F-150 lariat. Her email was low key and personable, repeating that just to call when I was ready. I kindly thanked her.
That was early 2025 and periodically over the following months Ms. Smith would send an email to keep in touch and remind me that they were still interested in my truck. By August 2026 their interest renewed my decision to buy a new F-150 Lariat. I casually wandered through the several local Ford dealerships lots examining their available trucks and deciding which color and features I wanted; a metallic black F-150 Lariat four door extended cab with a six-and-a-half-foot bed. I of course visited the Front Royal Ford dealership because of Ms. Smith’s reminders.
There at Front Royal Ford my wife and I met Mr. Jonathan Veach Sales Consultant. He was personable and knowledgeable of their inventory arranging a test drive with a F-150 Lariat currently on their sales lot. His familiarity with the truck and the newer features and console enhancements helped me and my wife to clarify the features we were seeking that we only could vaguely describe. His help finalized our choice on the F-150 Lariat with the features we had discovered we needed.
Mr. Veach sat down with us to discuss new truck pricing and trade-in value for my 2017 F-150 Truck. The trade-in value was generous, and the price of a new truck was reasonable. My wife and I had just two final features for our new truck, a spray on bed liner and electric retractable foot rails instead of the fixed rails available standard. This of course changed the final price for the new truck, and we worried about closing the sale. Mr. Tony Hussain, Sales Manager, stepped in and helped us work out an agreement that included the electric foot rails and an F-150 from their inventory that met all our desired features and color with the bed liner already installed.
The morning, we arrived to pick up our new truck bringing our 2017 Truck for trade-in; my wife and I talked with Ms. Patricia Terrazas, Finance Manager. She was professional and cordial, making us feel welcomed and explained the paperwork pathways to finalize the transfer of both vehicle titles, and other finance reporting up until we wrote the check for the new truck. Meanwhile, Ford Sales Consultants Mr. Matt McDonald and Mr. Jonathan Veach prepared our new truck for delivery, including activation of phone links and software support features on the dash console.
From the beginning the Front Royal Ford Dealership staff, Ms. Caitlyn Smith who kept us engaged by email, Mr. Jonathan Veach Sales finding us the vehicle we desired, Mr. Tony Hussain Sales Manager helping to finalize the price, to Ms. Patricia Terrazas Finance Manager navigating the paperwork, the teamwork and attention to service and detail of them all will make me and my wife loyal return customers.
