Another typical bad dealership that tells you that you are approved and they can make the numbers work, faxed prior submitting all my financial documents. Once upon arrival, Mike was just to busy to intro are approved and they can make the numbers work, faxed prior submitting all my financial documents. Once upon arrival, Mike was just to busy to introduce himself, I got bummped around to another sales mgr and within 40 min. I was given an outrageous price and down payment amount. My wife and I were looking for a vehicle and i must say it was the worst experience we have ever had. I will say we were pleased with how our salesman treated us and was very patient and helpful Mike was n it was the worst experience we have ever had. I will say we were pleased with how our salesman treated us and was very patient and helpful Mike was not the reason for our negative experience. we had purchased a used 2005 Z71 pickup or so we thought we did. We took delivery of the vehicle one evening and the next day the air bag light came on and check engine light was on. WE called Mike and was sorry and to bring it in for them to look at it.shortly after that conversation we recieved a call saying we need to bring the truck back due to the bank would not finance the vehicle due to year and mileage to high. WE were beside ourselves but we were told if we found a newer vehicle newer and less miles we could do that so we found an 2007 avalanche with75k on it we followed the criteria that was set by the finance company or so we were told and were then told No we cant have that vehicle bank said no (capital one)we were givin many excusses all of which made no sense we did what was asked of us and still had reasons why no vehicle we were offered a 2012 camaro for 659.00 a month which was 150.0 more than the truck was we saind no way too much, were then offered if we can get it at 600.00 would you do it we said yes and came back with no cant do it. WE drove in with a vehicle and left with nothing.THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! the next day we went CHAPMAN CHEVY found an 2007 avalanche with 59000 miles on it. We were financed by the same bank(CAPITAL ONE)for more money and lower interest rate and drove away the same day WITHOUT ANY HASSLE NO ISSUES WHAT SO EVER and a payment under 600.00 a month. We will NEVER EVER RETURN TO FREEWAY AND WILL NOT RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYONE!!!!!!! More

I came into the Freeway Chevrolet Dealership to look for a new car after wrecking (totaling) my Toyota Highlander. It was a rollover accident, and I decided to look for another small-ish SUV that I could f a new car after wrecking (totaling) my Toyota Highlander. It was a rollover accident, and I decided to look for another small-ish SUV that I could feel secure in, and that I could feel comfortable purchasing: both safety of vehicle and purchasing experience were REALLY important to me. I had visited several other dealerships: GMC, Nissan, Mazda, Toyota to name a few, and everyone of those left me feeling either unimportant to the dealers, rudely dealt with, or worse, the ol' "Well, we'll wait until your daddy's here to talk seriously with you." -- All of those were costly mistakes because I left them all with no intention of purchasing. Walking into Freeway Chevrolet was the most refreshing experience I've EVER had in purchasing a vehicle. From the very nice people who introduced themselves and offered me water in the crippling Arizona heat, to the people who showed us the cars...all were wonderful! (I found an Equinox LTZ that I was immediately interested in: the Espresso color took my breath away!) So then we had the test drive, (sadly, I had, and still do have a full back and neck brace on from the accident, so my sister did the driving, but we were allowed to go wherever we wanted, and with no "hard" sales feeling from the very, very helpful gentleman who went with us [his name was Tyler]). As soon as we came back to the dealership, Tyler immediately introduced us to the Floor Manager, Jim Rule. Boy did we like THIS guy! He was funny, personable, and by all indications, COMPLETELY honest with us! He immediately found a connection with us (we're both from Texas originally, and Mr. Rule said he had lived in Houston for quite awhile.) We talked about amazing old memories of the Huntsville Prison Rodeo and many other things that gave us a warm feeling of home, while allowing us to feel closer to Mr. Rule. He was amazing! I certainly felt like this was his "way" with all his customers...but it still made us feel just a little bit special - like we could TRUST him. And that has got to be one of the premier traits of an amazing floor manager in a dealership such as this. I also noticed that as he walked the floor, both on that original visit, and in the ones that occurred later, the employees all genuinely seemed to like him, respect him, and want to do a great job to please him. Impressed? You bet!! Then Jim Rule gave me a price (it was published on the website, but seemed to be a great number, for sure.) In fact, I don't mind telling you that I had some friends in my small hometown of Huntsville who were able to advise me on the cost of the car based on the VIN Number. They all said this was a great deal, and a beautiful, solid car, and I'd be a fool not to take it. My confidence in the dealership and my relationships here at Freeway Chevrolet were going through the roof!! So I decided to buy the car, and then I met Doug Porter, who came in to handle the financing details, paperwork, and, it seems, anything else I could possibly have a question about with this purchase. Doug has been personable, sweet, charming and an all around TERRIFIC go-to guy for this purchase. He took us for another ride to discuss the features of the car, including setting up my phone for bluetooth, helping us set up the Onstar and Sirius XM radio. And he made sure that I had his personal cell so that I could call it whenever I had a question or problem. But most importantly, he made me feel like I *could* call him with any question about ANYTHING that I had a question about with this car! And I HAVE taken that option. More than once. And each and every time Doug has been a dream to work with, whether he can answer the question right off the bat, or if he says, "Sure, I can help you with that...just come on by anytime and come find me and we'll fix that, or figure that out, or answer the question..." And I always got a free car wash out of the deal! I just can't say enough AMAZINGLY GOOD things about Doug, Jim and everyone else I dealt with at Freeway Chevrolet. My advice: Do whatever you can to keep them happy, because when I come back to Freeway Chevrolet next time I'm looking for a car (and I WILL go back to Freeway Chevrolet - in and of itself noteworthy: I'm a loyal customer now!) - I want to deal with Doug and Jim again. And I'll be telling any friend of mine who's looking for a car that THIS is the place to go, and THESE are the guys to see!! They made a sweet deal seem like a friend's deal. And that's important! With great thanks and fond regards, Kelly Crews More
