Hello, My name is Michael Cook. I am the General Manager here at Freeway Chevrolet. I apologize for the way you feel. We probably did not communicate properly. We did try very hard to get an approval for you, but unfortunately the bank has the final say. The good news is that we did get an approval. The bad news is that the bank required a significant downpayment and the rate was high based on your credit history. I wish that we could get everyone approved with 0 down and 0 percent interest rate. It would make my job a lot easier, but we have to go with what the banks approved. I apologize that Mike was with another customer when you came in. That often happens in the retail sales world. It is very important that we help every customer and that is why we keep a large staff. You can contact me directly with any questions or concerns. I can assure you that we would love to earn your business. Unfortunately, I can only submit your information to the banks and I have to go with whatever their approval is. Please feel free to contact me if I can hep in any way. Thank you for the feedback. Michael Cook.

Hello, My name is Michael Cook, I am the General Manager here at Freeway Chevrolet. I appreciate the feedback as it gives me an opportunity to analyze our processes. I am glad that Mike seemed to do a good job as usual. I apologize for the lack of communication. That is what it appears that we are guilty of. If you do not understand what happened, then it is our fault. As you know, you were very specific on the color and type of vehicle you wanted, and you also had a very specific budget that we had to adhere to. The vehicle you picked out originally was a 2005 with high miles. That vehicle could be financed with a good credit score, but you did not qualify for that vehicle. Of all the banks we used, only one bank--- Capital One gave us an approval for you. The approval was very specific--- the older the vehicle and the higher the miles meant a higher rate. The vehicle we had in stock would have worked but it was a loaded Avalanche... The bank would approve it, but you would not be able to do the payment--- so your budget meant it could not work. We tried new vehicles, and the bank would approve it, but again your budget said no. At the end of the process, we came to the conclusion that although we had an approval, we did not have the right vehicle to meet the approval guidelines and your budget at the same time. We could have lost a few thousand dollars to make a vehicle work, but that does not make good business sense. I am glad that you were able to find a vehicle at Chapman. That is our sister store and they do a great job as we usually do as well. The Avalanche that they had was an LS-- a base unit... not like our LTZ that we had. It was a 2007 unit with slightly less miles and because it was an LS, they owned it for far less. That made the whole puzzle fit accordingly. They used the same approval that we had gotten for you, and having the right vehicle made it a very easy experience. I am glad that you have a vehicle that you are satisfied with. In all fairness, if we had a similar vehicle or if we would have lost thousands the experience would have been the same at Freeway. I hope this explains it to you at least from our viewpoint. It is our goal to make every deal and to make every customer happy. We do not always succeed, but we certainly try. Feel free to contact me directly if I can answer any questions or help in anyway. Thanks again for the feedback, Michael Cook.
