My credit was BAD!! I went to Earnhardt (Mr.ED) dept was giving me the biggest run around. I came across Freeway called Todd from the Internet sales dept. He really took the time on the phone with. I looked at a 2012 Cruz LT the next thing I knew I was cleaning out my 03 GMC Envoy...And signing the paperwork...!!! He didn't make me feel less than a person because of my credit....I will from this point become a lifetime customer...He even called me on my birthday....Yes I did go back to Earnhardt to show them that they a joke and they really don't know what it takes to go that extra Mile...Please trust me when I say Freeway will go that extra mile to make and keep Customers... Took our 2011 Traverse in for an oil change and tire rotation. I informed Raul that we would be taking a vacation to Disneyland at the end of the week and asked that David check out the entire vehicle rotation. All of the work was done in a timely manner to include them washing the car. Once again, I cannot say enough about these guys. While I was waiting for them to arrive, I was looking at a vehicle I might like--knowing I wouldn't qualify. Up walks Duane-- who convinced me to take a few minutes to see if I would qualify. I have recently struggled through some difficult financial times and didn't believe I would even begin to qualify. Duane took me inside, introduced me to Dennis and Marc and WALA.... I walked out with a GREAT vehicle, GREAT shopping experience and New Friends. These guys could teach seminars on Customer Service!! THANK YOU Duane and Dennis. PS. My wife and I were in the market for a new or like new SUV to replace our 2003 Chevy Tahoe. We went to a total if Five Dealerships (Chevy (2), GMC, Ford, and a used car specialist and couldnt find exactly what we were looking for. We met Duane Shanklin at Freeway Chevrolet, and were immediately comfortable with him. Duane took his time and explained more about our new Traverse than any car salesman I have ever met. He is extremely knowledgeable, patient, and kind. He made us comfortable and then when we started the buying process worked a deal that we steal can't believe. We love the new traverse, and would recommend Duane to family, friends, co-workers, or anyone else. He is a wonderful person. If it werent for Duane and the sales manager giving and giving to us to make a deal we would have walked away. We purchased from Frewway Chevrolet because of Duane and would not hesitate to be a return customer. More
I communicated via email with the internet sales director Jim Rule as my initial contact with the dealership. I was also communicating with two other dealerships. I had an “out the door” price in mind for Jim Rule as my initial contact with the dealership. I was also communicating with two other dealerships. I had an “out the door” price in mind for a new Silverado and every dealership was having problems with my expectations. Being that it was the end of the year, I figured that my chances of getting a good deal where high. Finally, Jim came up with a way to meet my expectations and I went to see him. The dealership was in the middle of a remodel so the facility was a mess but I was immediately greeted and lead to Jim who was pulling a Silverado up-front for me to test drive. The process took longer than I had hoped, I think because of the remodel, but Jim was great with the negotiations and worked hard to get me the deal I wanted. Everyone that I dealt with was very pleasant and I feel comfortable with my purchase that is now 30 days old. I did not rate the “Quality of the Work” because I am assuming that subject deals with after-sales maintenance; I have not needed any services for the truck yet. More
I had been shopping for two weeks and had narrowed my interest down to a Chevy Cruz. With a limited budget, I hoped to find and "good" used vehicle and was delighted to find a 2011 with very low mileage interest down to a Chevy Cruz. With a limited budget, I hoped to find and "good" used vehicle and was delighted to find a 2011 with very low mileage listed on Chapman's (Freeway Chevrolet's) website. Mr. Henne responded to my interest very quickly and answered all of my questions and concerns. I am happy that I decided to drive the 2 hours to Freeway Chevrolet to see the vehicle because it was EVERYTHING the ad said. I am 100% satisfied with both the car and the excellent customer service. I had a horrible experiance. Doug the sales guy was great. I was going to purchase a used Camaro, it had a dent, the tires needed to be changed and that was fine. It was 9p.m. and we could not get ah great. I was going to purchase a used Camaro, it had a dent, the tires needed to be changed and that was fine. It was 9p.m. and we could not get ahold of a bank for financing, so we just wrote up blind documents. The next day a check was dropped off for a deposit and I was suppose to return Wednesday to sign the actual papers, because the originals were just with 0% down and not complete. We received a call stating the car would not be ready until Monday (when originally we were told Wednesday-almost 5 days later) then I was also informed that the tire pressure light would always stay on and there was nothing they could do about this. Thinking about it, I was not comfortable buying a car at that price with certain issues. I had my fiance go up there to pick up my check and he was told he could not since the deal was in my name (but they let him drop it off, and handle many aspects of the deal other then this) I called Tracy (the finance person) and left a message early Wednesday morning stating I did not want to go forward and would be in to pick up my check. I never recieved a call back, but when i went there he said he got the message, it was just an early call and he didn't come in until 1 (it was now 5 p.m.) So he then gave me the run around and went and got the sales guy Doug, who was polite, understanding, tried to help (guess what, now they could get different tires, get the pressure light off and give us a better deal) I said no, then the general sales manager came in...story short, very RUDE! Told me i signed a contract, i asked for my check, stating i had never taken delivery of the vehicle and he went on about taking action, so i told him to do what was necessary. Then i asked for my deposit check back and he said it wasn't mine, i stated i never signed a contract with that deposit as part of the deal, he said i did and then looked at it and realized, no i signed with 0 down! He then walked away and i sat there for 15 minutes while everyone in the office disappeared and left several customers sitting and I got up and left. I asked for a GM name before I left and found out it was Mike Cook. So, is this my story. I received nothing, but they get to keep my check just because, even though I never ACCEPTED DELIVERY and then LEGAL ACTION WAS THREATENED AGAINST ME! I just needed another month or so to think about purchasing a new instead of used and planned on going through them, but that will not happen now. And we are not talking about a small check, we are talking about $4500 they say DOES NOT BELONG TO ME, even though I had no delivery of the vehicle More
