They didn't, but last week the engine gasped its last breath at 375,000 miles!!! So after fifteen years, we found ourselves in the position of needing a car and needing it fast! We started at Fred Mueller Auto as the Yukon had been towed there--and we ended at Fred Mueller three hours later, thanks to Mike Kohler. (We'll, we really didn't "end" as I'll explain in a minute!). Thanks to the Internet, we arrived knowing a couple of cars we wanted to start with. Mike talked us through plusses and minuses of each, and in spite of five inches of fresh snow, gave a hands-on demonstration of all the bells and whistles on our first choice. We negotiated what we considered to be a fair price and picked up the GMC Terrain less than a day later. Mike spent another hour with us, making sure we knew what we needed to know! He gave us a call shortly after we arrived at home--just to see if we had questions, and we've set a future appointment with him to learn more about the navigation system. He calls his customers "guests" and we felt like guests!! And we look forward to working with him in the future as we learn about the amazing technological features of our new car ! More
