Taylor and I had a phone conversation. I saved $165 because Taylor was honest with me about my car's "issue," which wasn't really an issue. To be honest, the biggest thing was that he saved me time. I am not car intelligent, so I've had a lot of workers at other auto dealerships try to blind me. I was therefore rather surprised to have a kind supervisor assist me in saving money. I can say that it undoubtedly made a difference in my day. I've already told my folks about the excellent phone support I received. When I go in to get work done on my automobile, I will most certainly ask to see him. More
Update 3: 72 hours later and still no phone call. THEY SURE DO VALUE MY BUSINESS AND WILL BE REACHING OUT THO!!! 📞 Can we all agree they're a bunch of lying thieves? 🧐 I did get not one, but two, a THEY SURE DO VALUE MY BUSINESS AND WILL BE REACHING OUT THO!!! 📞 Can we all agree they're a bunch of lying thieves? 🧐 I did get not one, but two, automated review requests to which I gave them unacceptable on everything but providing popcorn in the waiting area. I'm glad they keep asking me to take surveys ✔️ because I will blast them every 💥 single 💥 time 💥 I can due to their scam tactics. Stay tuned for more updates as they continue to do jack you-know-what to fix this. Maybe I should ask my fiancé if they called him, ya know, the man in the relationship, to 'make this right' since that's what they did when I initially purchased this vehicle. 😑 Update 2: Well gosh, I am so shocked- here we are, a whole 48 hours out and still no call from this honest dealership. Here is my update for today: my fiance bought a dodge ram from Fred Martin right before I bought my Durango, and before 30 days had even passed, a pressure sensor failed. 👎🏼He called up the trusty Fred Martin dealership, who assured him that they would 'make it right...' and when he got there to pick up his truck he had a nice $700 bill 💵waiting for him. That's how they 'make it right.' Now currently his entire truck 🛻 is taking in water from not only his back window, but also his drivers door too. We are gonna celebrate this garbage truck they sold us by visiting the pet store and getting some goldfish 🐠 . Less than 40K miles and it's a trash bin. 🗑️ I'll keep updating this review because yes, I AM that petty and still feeling salty over this whole thing. 🧂 Update 1: It has been a full day and no one has reached out to me from Fred Martin, so don't let their comment lead you to believe they care. One of the repairs was a $165 diagnostic fee (it was a literal broken button on a window master switch, so I'm still unsure of what exactly needed diagnosed...😑) and sure as crap, the diagnostic came back saying the button was broken. They wanted $200 for labor to repair it. I ordered a $40 part, got it today, and it took LESS THAN TWO MINUTES for my fiance to replace. $200.... for 2 minutes of time. $100. A. Minute. And if he could do it in less than 2 minutes, I'm sure they would have sat with my car for 2+ hours, fully knowing they could have had it done in less than 30 seconds. If I could give negative stars, I sure would. I'll keep updating just because I want you to know how awful that place truly is. Since I'm on a roll, I might as well let you know that when I bought the car, yes, ME, I initially walked out because of how disrespectful the 'sales manager' was to me. A few hours later, my fiance told me that he got a call from the dealership apologizing about how 'we' were treated, and letting him know that they accepted MY offer for the car if we can come back the next day to finalize the sale. They didn't call me- the actual person purchasing the car. They didn't apologize to me, the one they treated like garbage. They called HIM. Not me. This is how they treat women. No respect at all. Stay tuned for updates. I'll be sure to post them. Fred Martin is the biggest scam dealership. I purchased a mopar warranty and somehow fixing a radio wasn't covered under warranty. What is the point of a $3000 extended warranty that doesn't cover anything? Two repairs needed, neither covered. Mind you, the crook that sold me the warranty said it covers everything bumper to bumper except wearables. How did I 'wear out' a faulty radio? My fiancé's truck is currently being fixed at another dealership because he doesn't trust the service department to actually fix something. I cashed out my warranty and am buying one with another dealer so neither of us have to step foot in that dump again. Please, for the love of your sanity, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE. They are liars and scammers. More
