Onc The visit at first was just to look around and maybe test drive a car or two, but Keith turned it into a great experience and a fast and easy buy. Once we told him what we were looking for he immediately found some nice used cars to fit our criteria. He said if you don't love it there are plenty more to look through, but we found the one right away. We came back the next day to complete the purchase. Keith was by far the most personable and helpful salesman we had in a long time. More
Wouldn't go out of my way to go to this dealership If you want a very smooth and professional experience, and don't mind paying a good deal more than you should for your car, this is the place for you. If you want a very smooth and professional experience, and don't mind paying a good deal more than you should for your car, this is the place for you. Tl;dr = Pretty good experience, not surprised they are knowledgeable and professional (they are paid to be), took a couple hours longer than it should have, got me a 6% interest loan (which is quite high), but worst of all they charged me 130% of the price of the car (didn't find out until later when my bank checked the value) after insisting that it was "fairly priced" so they wouldn't come down on the price at all. I believe the majority of the people giving 5-star price ratings didn't actually compare the prices with other places or Kelly Blue Book. Most of the positive reviews on here are something like, "Keith is incredible!!!1 Keith found me a car quickly that was within my budget, and he knows a lot about Subarus!" I'm not one to leave negative reviews, but seriously? Of course any salesman at any dealership is going to be able to find a car within your budget, as long as your budget isn't extraordinarily low. And of course the salespeople know about Subarus... it's a Subaru dealership. So anyway, in all honesty, the experience was actually great here, much like everyone else says. They will sit you in a clean chair in a clean room with a professional and not-too-pushy salesman. They didn't lower the price a cent from what was on the sticker in the lot for me, insisting to me that they price their vehicles fairly, so they don't come down on the price. They then offered me 100 dollars on a trade-in Kelly Blue Book told me was worth $1,200. I was only expecting about 600 dollars, because I know they have to make a profit, but they only offered me 8.3% of what Kelly Blue Book told me my car was worth. I was surprised - so of course I didn't sell it to them and I sold it myself for the $900 dollars it was easily worth. Next, they checked with 4 or 5 banks to get me a loan (I have over 700 credit score), which was sort of annoying because that many credit checks lowered my credit score fairly substantially. After all this, I would still have given a 4-star review. But today, 2 months after the purchase of my 2012 Subaru Legacy, I tried to refinance my loan with a different bank (because the 72 month loan they got me had 6% annual interest, which is absurd), and received some bad news from the bank - turns out that the "fairly priced" car is only worth 70% of what I bought it for, and the bank will only finance up to 120% of what they deem is the value of a car, which basically means that I am stuck with a terrible loan. My husband and I were pleasently surprised that this was not the case at all. Keith was knowledgeable, helpful, and easy-going. He sensed right away if I wasn't in-love with a car and moved on to another. It made the car-buying experience way less stressful and more enjoyable. More
Horrible experience This was without a doubt one of the worst car buying experiences I have ever had when I shopped a used Subaru Tribeca at Fred Beans Subaru. My wi This was without a doubt one of the worst car buying experiences I have ever had when I shopped a used Subaru Tribeca at Fred Beans Subaru. My wife and I showed up there at around 3:30 on a Saturday afternoon to look at a Tribeca. We stood outside for about 15 minutes looking at the vehicle until we finally went inside to get help. I had assumed it was just they were busy but there were several salespeople sitting there doing nothing. There were two women that were sitting at their desks and would not even look at us. We awkwardly stood there with our 3-year old milling around a car we had no interest in looking at in hopes someone would at least address us. A few more awkward minutes go by and finally someone asks us if we are being helped. We told him we were not and mentioned why we were there. He did not introduce himself and did not even acknowledge my wife being there. I stayed in the showroom while he got the car for her to stay with my daughter. They took the car out for a test drive. During the time they were gone not even a single person looked at us. Not a wave or a smile. The entire staff I encountered seemed arrogant and rude. When they got back I asked if she liked and she did but was really put off by the dealership thus far. I had told the salesman that we had a trade and that I was fully aware that we were going to be "upside down" in it going into it. After almost an hour of waiting they finally appraised our vehicle. Mind you, for a Saturday this was not busy. After they got that the saleman came back with numbers on the vehicle. The worksheet came back with nothing but a down payment and a monthly number. I asked how did they arrive at this number (an uncompetitive number that I quickly figured out the details with a car payment calculator). What was the total we were financing, how much for our vehicle, what was the ARP (indicated that we have very good credit). He had no answers for any of this. I asked him to please get this info for me. He came back with the payment lower because the term was extended. He still was not even telling me how much we were paying for the vehicle. I had asked to speak to whomever was providing this info as I am not going to consider buying a car that I don't even have disclosed what I am paying for. He came back once again and told me the ARP. I just stared at him in shock because it's like he didn't even listen to my request to speak to a manger. I just told him I guess you guys are not interested in selling the car and your manager is not even trying to speak to me. At that point we left without anyone coming over to us or even trying to sell us a car. I can't begin to tell people what a total failure this was from top to bottom for this dealership. I don't even blame the salesman as he told us he was new. I blame his supervisors who were too lazy to even come out and introduce themselves to us. The vehicle they had was on there lot for about 75 days. They had a buyer who was ready to buy. I told them I was a Subaru guy that has an Outback and even a Subaru SVX as a secondary car and wanted to get my wife one too. They didn't have the decency to even come out and explain we can sell the car for X, give you Y for your car, and you pay Z. It's business so it won't always work out for both sides but these guys didn't even try. I had try to contact their GM via the Dealer Rater site. I got no reply so in 3 days I tried again through their website and got no reply either. I am stunned this place is so highly rated here. These guys are one of the worst dealers I ever dealt with on every level. They did everything wrong a dealer can do. On a related note, I went to their Nissan dealership the following week and bought a vehicle from them. We were treated with respect and made a fair deal. They took our trade and the asking prices were the same on a similar vehicle. Fred Beans Subaru doesn't care at all. More

Keith is an expert Salesperson who knows the Subaru product through and through. I actually look forward to visiting the dealership to see these guys. No need to go anywhere else for your next Subaru! See Evan & Keith. More

Got a Great Deal, But Staff was friendly and inviting. Showroom and facility was super clean and organized. Went to test drive the vehicle on my way home from work. I liked Staff was friendly and inviting. Showroom and facility was super clean and organized. Went to test drive the vehicle on my way home from work. I liked it and agreed to purchase. That is where things went south. Wanted to trade a vehicle in, but I did not arrive in that vehicle. I said I could close deal a day or two later. Agreed to leave deposit to secure the purchase. I was told that was ok. Then suddenly that was an issue. I said then I could sell it myself and to proceed. Then I was told a deposit could not hold the vehicle. I was compelled to buy vehicle that night. Then I was told I had to get vehicle off lot by the time they close at 9pm. Closed deal at 8pm and was able to drive home and have daughter drive me pick up vehicle. Also I was told a security etching done for the dealer due to thefts was a requirement for me to buy the vehicle. Didn't realize to next day but lot person did the etching while I was there. That cost me $299.. I did not have my glasses with me, since I did not expect to do more than test drive, but I went by the salesman word.. Next day I read the form and states I do not have to purchase this to buy the vehicle. Keith was my salesman and was very professional. He was a pleasure to work with. Other than telling me the $299 Security Protection was mandatory I believe he was being told by the ones behind the scenes to get this sold and taken that day. Not sure what their policy is but vehicle was not filled. Only about half tank if that. Also inside windshield was so smeared (I told Keith during test drive) I had hard time seeing while driving home. I will be interested in a Subaru in about 3 years and a main reason for returning would be Keith. Never had such a strange experience at an automotive dealership before. Wish there was a MAYBE to recommend them button. I heard very good things about Fred Bean Dealerships. Not sure what went wrong. In the end I got a great deal on a good vehicle but bought a worthless theft deterrent. More
Certified Pre-owned purchase 10/19/15 My wife and I walked into the dealership to look at some pre-owned vehicles. Keith asked some simple questions about what we were looking for in a car My wife and I walked into the dealership to look at some pre-owned vehicles. Keith asked some simple questions about what we were looking for in a car and how we would use it and then showed us the perfect Subaru, first try. Keith made the entire selection and purchasing process simple and we drove off in our certified pre-owned Forester later that day. I would recommend Keith to anyone who is interested in a Subaru and I'm sure this is not the last car I'll be buying from him. More
