My wife and I had been looking to purchase a new car and after driving a couple of the models we decided on the Santa Fe. When we walked into the showroom we were greeted by Dan who asked if there was anyth after driving a couple of the models we decided on the Santa Fe. When we walked into the showroom we were greeted by Dan who asked if there was anything he could do to help us. We had a pleasant time and never felt that we were being rushed into something. He explained the features of the car and we took it for a ride. At that point we were not sure which dealership we would purchase the car from and he told us that if we had any further questions we could call him. After looking at a Santa Fe at another dealership we decided to return to Flemington Hyundai. We felt that we were given a fair trade in for our car as well as a good price on some options. They did not have a color that we were interested in but he told us that they would check around and make a swap. As it turned out it was not a color we wanted so they made a second swap. We settled on this vehicle. He took the time to introduce us to the sales manager. We felt both comfortable and confident in our dealings with the staff. The paper work went smoothly. We were shown options that we could purchase (extended warranty, service contracts, etc.) and at no time did we feel pressured to purchase any of these options. We were given a tour of the service department so that we would be aware as to what was available to us when we return for servicing. We were both pleased with the entire process and would recommend Flemington Hyundai to our friends and family. More
The people that work at the dealership were personable, adhearing to their quoted figures as far as pricing and costs. The whole process was done efficiently, effectively and timely. I'm not comfortable with the survey....it doesn't allow me to express the specific reasons why I chose Flemington Hyundai..... There's one major factor I choose this dealer and that was the internet sa me to express the specific reasons why I chose Flemington Hyundai..... There's one major factor I choose this dealer and that was the internet sales person Frank Spruce. He's worth his weight in gold. Don't lose him! Frank worked with me and didn't try to "sell" me. I'd buy another car from him. It was the best new car purchase I've ever had. Frank is THE REASON I came to Flemington Hyundai! I dislike buying new cars....in my past experience, I often felt as though I was being attacked by the sales person. I seemingly had to go through the the inevitable " I have to check with my sales manager" routine. I'd sit there and wait and then I'd get the "double whammy" ...whatever that might have been. A sale at any price. How uncomfortable that is! ! ! Russ, the sales person who was assigned to me. He did a good job of not "undoing" all the confidence and satisfaction Frank had established with me and your dealership. I appreciated that. Personally, I think if Frank could have, it would have been nice to have him involved in "closeing" the deal. You may want to work on this aspect of the Internet sales management system. At least have Frank involved in some aspect of the "closing". This in no way is meant to be a negative reflection or comment about Russ. When I arrived to pick-up the car....I was pleasantly surprised at the "efficiency" of executing the paperwork. That was done very effectively by Dawson Weller, the Business Manager. Also, the Eviroguard was applied this week, Thursday. Brian, in the service department, was very accommodating and effective. I enjoyed working with him. We felt that he was trying to help us find the car the was best for us and not one that he might want us to buy. In other words he had our best interest at heart. Any questions that we had about a vehicle, he was able to answer to our complete satisfaction. There were no problems about test driving what ever car we wanted. I prefer a smaller car and my wife likes some comfort, so through Joe's help we selected an Elantra GT which fit both our needs and budget. We never felt pressured and Joe had great patience with us. In fact,after we made the purchase Joe went over every feature of the car with us even though I beleive the dealership was closing for the evening. He didn't hurry through this and made sure that we understood all the features of the car. He said that when we got home and maybe forgot how to work a certain feature to come back the next day or any other day and he would go over it with us. We couldn't have had a better sales representative than Joe. We were also treated extremely well by the rest of the Flemington Hyundai staff. Very comfortable and pleasant place of business. And we absolutely love our new car. More
I have been to a few dealerships and it's always a dreaded situation as it always seems very high pressure. However, my experience at Flemington Hyundai was much different. I worked with Joe M in the Internet Department and he was great. He quickly got the vehicle for me to look at, setup the test drive and opened the garage at night for me to see the car under the lights since it was night. He also worked with me to get the most of my trade too -- I really had a great experience and would recommend Joe to anyone looking for a new or used vehicle. More
Everytime I deal with this dealer I feel like I am getting scammed. I regret having leased from them and I look forward to my lease being up and never having to deal with them. Everytime I go in for what I expect to be warranty work, they try to charge me and I have to fight to get it performed under warranty. And it boils down to each time poor engineering, parts, and design of the car. They claim VIP club and special benefits but you have to fight to get those too. The service department was very slow and did not provide any updates after an hour of me waiting when they were just supposed to take a look and assess the scope of a minor issue. I informed them that I was already late for work as I would have expected 30 minutes tops as I had an appointment and they were just inspecting, not supposed to perform any work. They still took their time completing their tasks. More
