I took my 2015 Nissan Altima here for service back in July of 2022 and told them something was wrong with my transmission. They were unable to duplicate the issue. I took it back in for service in Novemb July of 2022 and told them something was wrong with my transmission. They were unable to duplicate the issue. I took it back in for service in November of 2022, and I needed a new transmission. I was told that it is just something that happens to my make, model, and year. My car just turned over 80k miles. There was nothing the dealership was able to do to help, even though it is a known issue with with 2015 Altimas. I asked if there were leaks, or anything I could have done to prevent this, and again, was told this is just something that happens. While it's not the dealerships fault, having to pay over 5k for a new transmission when I may have been able to prevent it, and the fact that it's a known issue, left me pretty disappointed and upset. I was also told there was a coupon that would be applied to the transmission cost, there was no such discount on my final invoice, and the service manager was out for lunch when I came to pick my car up, I just paid the total amount, as it seemed to not be a priority for them to add said coupon, and I was frankly just very upset. More
