I love the Nissan Murano I bought from Tynan's and Jake Howard. I believe that I got a great vehicle at a great price. This is the third vehicle I have purchased from Tynan's Nissan through the years. I have always been very satisfied. Jake Howard was a great host to show me vehicles to choose from and bent over backwards to get a deal that was fair for all of us. There were some superficial scratches on a few spots when I picked up the vehicle. They were quick to take care of these imperfections. Jenny, in Service, was very concerned and anxious to make sure that the scratches were fixed to perfection, asap. In addition, Ed Tynan is the kind of owner that helps make buying a car seem like a family experience. Although the Murano is now mine, I trust that I will be taken care of for any other needs that may arise as a valued customer of Tynan's Nissan. Sincerely, Mike Fahey More

Tynan's Nissan is a highly recommended, local, family run business and those were the reason I chose to go there for my new car and I am glad I did. I was treated very well by everyone from the sales sta run business and those were the reason I chose to go there for my new car and I am glad I did. I was treated very well by everyone from the sales staff to the finance department to the service department and they delivered on every one of their promises to me. In every way, this visit to your showroom was the best that I have experienced. When I say I have purchased five Nissans, and all of them from Tynans, I don't say it lightly and I mean it sincerely. My pr that I have experienced. When I say I have purchased five Nissans, and all of them from Tynans, I don't say it lightly and I mean it sincerely. My previous four purchases have met with controversy in the finance office and this time I received the same deal on the floor and in the finance office. I almost went to another dealership. Jake was hobbling around on crutches, but didn't let that slow him down and Otto's financial deals were nothing short of amazing. They both made this experience pleasurable. When my Pathfinder need to be traded in, I will be in again and I hope that I receive the same treatment. You can see that I already only purchase Nissans, but this just adds assurance that I will purchase my next one at Tynans Ft. Collins again. These two gentleman should be commended for there commitment to customer service. Thanks for the great service, Jim and Tracy McDade More

On the test drive we noted a noise (sort of a rattling/clunking) which we thought was the table in the back, as it was not sitting firmly in the slide-in area. The vehicle was very clean and "appeared" to be in great shape cosmetically. However, within hours of purchasing it I had many issues. The "rattling/clunking" got very bad and the brakes were pulsing and squeaking and the ABS and traction control lights came on. They told me to bring it in, which I did, and they gave me a loaner car, as they had mine for 4 days. They repaired the front swaybar links but said that they could not reproduce any braking issues. I left there thinking everything was okay. However, I then received a copy of the "Used Car Multi-Point Inspection" invoice dated July 19, 2013 for the inspection they apparently did when they took the vehicle in on trade before they put it up for sale. It states: A - Found that the T-case fluid is black and valve covers are leaking - Sales denied service (therefore this was not taken care of); B - Internal Used Vehicle Emission Test - passed; C - Lube and filter service performed; D - Inspection found that driver-sided door lock switch not working - replaced and works properly (THIS DOES NOT WORK); E - found that front brake rotors have pulsation - resurfaced and pulsation is no longer present (PULSATION IS STILL PRESENT); F - noticed front end clunk noise - found front sway bar bushings are worn - replaced sway bar bushings (CLUNKING NOISE WAS STILL PRESENT WHEN PURCHASED); G - while braking at low speeds, ABS comes on - left front ABS sensory was erratic - replaced left front wheel bearing (ABS AND TRACTION LIGHTS COMING ON IMMEDIATELY AFTER PURCHASE). Considering that these items were ALL noted back on July 19th and stated on the invoice to have been repaired, yet were still present immediately after purchase, I am extremely concerned about if ANY of these items were ever actually taken care of at all. I did contact the dealership again and they have no desire to take care of anything. They provided me with an inspection report showing the issues that they found with the vehicle back in July that showed they were all repaired, yet those same issues still exist, and have now progressed to a "grinding" sound when making tight slow turns. I would find this to be a gross misrepresentation of the vehicle. I am highly disappointed and will be filing a report with the BBB. More
My wife and I decided to purchase a Nissan Murano because winter was approaching and we wanted a suitable AWD SUV to deal with the snow that was soon to come. Before heading to the dealership, I did some on winter was approaching and we wanted a suitable AWD SUV to deal with the snow that was soon to come. Before heading to the dealership, I did some online research and found that this particular dealership was in the midst of a massive end-of-the-model-year clearance and that salesman Jake Howard had consistently received positive reviews for his knowledge of the Nissan line, his fairness and friendliness, and I was particularly interested in his no-pressure sales technique. I'm pleased to say that the reviewers were right on every count! We purchased the Murano at a remarkably low price and were offered top dollar on our very clean trade-in. Toss in Jake's personality and sense-of-humor and this car-buying experience was not only painless but fun! More
I was interested in a used Ford Escape that was at the Tynan's store in Aurora, CO. I called the Fort Collins store and they brought the vehicle to Fort Collins, which I really appreciated, as any vehicl Tynan's store in Aurora, CO. I called the Fort Collins store and they brought the vehicle to Fort Collins, which I really appreciated, as any vehicle we buy is evaluated by our own mechanic first (who is also in Fort Collins). I won't go into what the mechanic said, etc. My problem was in the pricing. We were interested in the vehicle (with a contingency related to something our mechanic had found). The price, with all the add-ons, was about $900 over our budget. I had mentioned that the Tynan's in Aurora had offered a $300 coupon off any vehicle, new or used, and I was told they would honor that. That had not been deducted, so Derek took the paperwork back to someone in finance to make the adjustment and came back with a price written as "best deal" and I was told that I was saving over $400. My own fault for not looking more closely. It wasn't until I was looking at the paperwork while at my bank that I realized the price had not been discounted one penny. Instead, they had discovered that because of where we live, our sales tax was much lower than if we lived in Fort Collins - over $400 lower. That was the ONLY CHANGE they had made - no discount at all, just correcting what was their mistake to begin with. But it was put to me like they had made me a great deal. I do not appreciate dishonesty. When confronted they did take the $300 off, but we ended up walking on the deal because of the problem found by our mechanic (the contingency). I was sorry as I liked the Escape, but I also did not really want to buy from them after my discovery. From this dealership's good reviews and the "promises to our customers" that are posted on their walls, I expected fair and honest dealings. I do not feel I got that. More
Todd and Jake understand how to effectively use the internet to make for a great customer experience. While the internet is a convenient tool to begin car shopping, other dealers use automated respons internet to make for a great customer experience. While the internet is a convenient tool to begin car shopping, other dealers use automated responses and uneducated customer service reps. When I started an instant chat conversation, the response was not only quick but actually answered my specific inquiry. While the first car I inquired about ended up not meeting our needs, Todd asked what we were looking for. He then made suggestions for other used vehicles that actually met our criteria. We would also like to commend Tynan's for actually doing their used car inspection before we drove it. The service report was available for us to look over. Thank you for making this transaction easier than we had expected. More
