PGJMB, My Dealership participates in the DealerRater.com Certified Dealer Program. We are committed to providing high quality customer service but based on your DealerRater.com review, you did not share that experience. After reading your comments, I spoke with our Service Director in detail about the events that occurred during your visit. We exercised our right to decline working on your car because our service director did not feel comfortable entering into a business relationship with you. Our estimate form legally complies with all governmental agencies and you will find that the form is standard policy no matter where you go to service your car. The clause that you have raised concern about in your review simply states: "Estimate good for 30 days. Not responsible for damage caused by theft, fire, or acts of nature. I hereby authorize the above repairs, including sublet work, along with the necessary materials. You and your employees may operate my vehicle for the purpose of testing, inspection, and delivery at my risk. If I cancel repairs prior to their completion for any reason, tear down and reassembly fees may be applied." These legalities are put in place to protect you, the consumer, and our place of business. Every licensed repair facility is obligated under law to present you with this form and obtain your signature. By signing this form you are giving us written authorization to diagnose your car. This gives us the ability to bring your vehicle into our service department and have one of our Certified Technicians diagnose your vehicle complaint. As per our transparent business policies, our service advisor would then prepare an estimate of what would be required to fix that specific complaint. You then would have had the right to authorize or decline the repairs. You would never be charged for anything that you were not aware of upfront. Please note that we are fully licensed & insured and would take full responsibility for any damages if they were caused under controllable circumstances. The liability clause protects us from damages caused by theft, fire, or acts of nature. These are events that are uncontrollable. We make our best efforts in providing our customers with highly-secured premises. To fully protect all vehicles under our care, we move all vehicles behind a secured, locked, and video-surveillance area before we close each and every night. Due to our extra security efforts, we have never had a theft in the 29 years we have been in business. I respect your right to posting this review but I encourage you to reconsider revising as we have done nothing wrong. My service director felt that you had too much apprehension about leaving your vehicle and preferred to avoid any potential issues. I am very proud of our business and I assure you that you would have been very pleased with our service had we actually taken in your car. If there is any way I can demonstrate my willingness to show you that we are a fair and honest place of business in the future, please feel free to call me anytime at (561) 478-9999. I thank you again for sharing your concerns and giving us the opportunity to earn your business. Jonathan Ortiz General Manager
