Ford of Port Richey made an out-of-state transaction fairly easy, though it wasn’t perfect. Sales guys were responsive even though they were short handed a couple of days during negotiation. Biggest com fairly easy, though it wasn’t perfect. Sales guys were responsive even though they were short handed a couple of days during negotiation. Biggest complaints are that after the sale, I ended up discovering several issues with the vehicle I purchased that kind of indicate a less-than-stellar inspection, especially for a Ford certified pre-owned. AC needed recharge, antenna base was broken, roof trim was broken, and they couldn’t verify if the fuel filters (diesel truck) were new, and wouldn’t put new ones on for piece of mind. Part of this is my fault for not being more thorough after an early morning and long flight from out of state. Additionally, the finance guy was cool, but I’ve discovered things in the fine print that I feel were intentionally left out during the sale (again, my fault for not being more thorough). All in all, they gave me a decent deal on an awesome truck that I’m mostly happy with, but I’d caution others that may be interested in purchasing out of state to make sure you do your due diligence. I’d recommend the Port Richey folks, but for used vehicle deals, just know what you’re getting into and do your research ahead of time. My experience was pretty good until I got home where I discovered some minor issues and discrepancies. I’d recommend with caution and would rate 3/5 stars More
