Very pleasant staff, Lynda was very helpful in securing our vehicle. We bought right off the lot. The only fallback was not being more negotiable with the pricing due to inventory, and we were there for fo our vehicle. We bought right off the lot. Ford of Northampton's Service Department defines 5-star service. When a vehicle breaks down, service can sometimes take a long time. Brian Jourdain, my service writer, listened to my needs and, without making promises that couldn't be met, demonstrated his understanding and willingness to work to get the problem solved as soon as possible. The problem turned out to be a bad starter in my 2017 Ford F150. The parts department carried the needed starter in stock. A service tech installed the new starter and within 2 days Brian sent a courtesy car to my workplace and I was able to pick up my truck. 5-star=accuracy, courtesy, professionalism=Ford of Northampton Service. This is by for the worst service department I have ever dealt with. The service rep Brain offered up excuses and a insulting joke as I was trying to explain the transmission trouble I was having with my dealt with. The service rep Brain offered up excuses and a insulting joke as I was trying to explain the transmission trouble I was having with my transit van, saying that I researched the problem and thought I was having an transmission programming issue. After I left, I went across the street to the wonderful, knowledgeable gentlemen at Northampton Transmission, who test drove my van and validated my experience saying that there seemed to be something wrong with the transmission programming which appears to be causing the transmission to downshift too low, back to first gear, causing the engine to rev up to 40000 during the test drive. Exactly what i was saying to the fools at Northampton Ford. Northampton Ford Service is the worst! Don't go there. More
