Broken promises NEVER TRUST THIS FORD SERVICE DEPARTMENT! !! I bought an expedition platinum in South Carolina in November. Unfortunately, it had a steering issue along with some other issues. This almost 1 h !! I bought an expedition platinum in South Carolina in November. Unfortunately, it had a steering issue along with some other issues. This almost 1 hundred thousand dollar vehicle was in the shop at ford of Lafayette on 3 occasions. All 3 times it left still pulling to the left. This has been going on since November! Finally I’m insisting that they fix this issue. I was told that they didn’t have a loaner but would work on it. That was in February. Last week they set an appointment for may 1st and agreed that they would have a loaner and that they would have ford get involved after they tore it apart to figure out the issue. I was text at 730am on the 1st to be told they again have no loaner. It gets worse. Brandon continues to tell me after calling me (which i had to request a call). That warranty will not pay for another alignment. I will have to pay for this. Even worse he told me to take it back down to South Carolina where it was purchased since it was their problem. So wait. You didn’t fix my issue. You strung me along for months. They told me take it back down south. screw you man! I actually had to call Ford corporate. They have set up everything also having an engineer look at it. Definitely at a different ford dealership. I had ford corporate look up how many fords and Lincoln’s my family has purchased. Needless to say that they were not happy with how I have been treated. In closing stay away from ford of Lafayette. I couldn’t even buy from them. I. Asked for a manager to call me and explain.
