This place used to be so nice but the people there don't act friendly anymore. I used to go here all the time but I think I will go somewhere the employees will treat me better and not that I am an inconvenience to them by bringing my car in. I say it is time for a house cleaning Mike Raisor, if you don't want to lose more customers. More
I went in for an oil change and to look at a loose wire on my rear window defroster. After I got my car back it was completely broken off of my rear window. Then I went to complain and all they would say i on my rear window defroster. After I got my car back it was completely broken off of my rear window. Then I went to complain and all they would say is, "we will work with you on a price" and they don't want to take responsibility. Never take your car here. They practice dirty business and extortion to make money. More
I originally went to Raisor to get my transmission checked because my 2010 Ford Escape was doing odd things. After taking my car in two times I finally came back demanding they find what was wrong. Phil Coverdale rode in my car with me and immediately felt what was wrong. He was very friendly and I felt confident that he would get things threatened out. I THINK my transmission was fixed from that point. Unfortunately that wasn’t the end of it. Immediately after going to Ford to fix my transmission, my AC was not working. I was already moved home for the summer at this point. I am a Purdue student - this is why I chose to take my Ford to Raisor. When I took my car in to get the AC fixed, the mechanic immediately found out that it was because RAISOR did not replace my AC as they should have. They are 100% to blame as to why it stopped working. That was OK, common mistake we thought. NOT EVEN A WEEK LATER - I was parking my car and all of the sudden it gets stuck in Drive. I immediately shut off my car. We then found out that the shift cable in my car is “worn out.” Odd thing for a 2010. Once we had a mechanic replace the new shift cable, he noticed a piece of plastic STUCK IN THE SHIFT CABLE! They stuck that plastic piece in to make sure that it would hold me over for some time until it broke on me and almost caused me to hit a parked car. Both mechanics have told me that BOTH occurrences were because of the transmission replacement. If they were responsible people, they would have done the necessary measures to save us from this headache and cost out of OUR pocket. DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR CAR TO RAISOR FOR SERVICE. I can say I was very happy with Jeff Jones and Phil Coverdale. Jeff was very nice and accommodating. Phil finally put the action to “fix” my transmission. I do not blame either of these people for this COMPLETE negligence. More
My son bought a car from Mike Raisor Ford and had a minor accident, so he took it back for repairs. Included in the repairs was correcting the alignment. Well, they didn't do it right so he had to take it accident, so he took it back for repairs. Included in the repairs was correcting the alignment. Well, they didn't do it right so he had to take it back. He made an appointment to have it done on the Friday before Easter at 10am, when he had a day off. He lives in Indy so it isn't easy for him to get back to Lafayette. He called that morning to see how long the repair would take because he wanted to make plans for the afternoon if possible. They quoted a time of 1-1 1/2 hrs. He took it in at 10 am and 3 hrs later, he asked it if was done yet. Then they told him that they had decided to do oil changes instead and had not even started on his car yet. It would be 30 minutes before they could get it in. My son left! A lady called me the following week to do a service survey and I let her know how uphappy I was with their service. She said she would call my son and take care of it, but she called once while he was at work and left a message. He called her back twice and never got her and she has not attempted to contact him again. BAD, BAD service at this place! More

I know they will only repair what needs to be repaired. The prices are fair and the quality of work has been excellent. I recommend MRF every chance I get because they do a great job and treat me like family. Without reservation, I trust the folks at MRF to do the work right and at a fair price. I had my car totaled by Mike Raisor's Mazda service center. Now they are refusing to compensate for the damage. In short, they drove my car without oil, it resulted in rod knock (requires new engine), which exceeded the value of my car. They have played ring around the legal system and are refusing to compensate me. Personally, I think they are trying to take advantage of a young kid fresh out of college with limited resources. Full story: My '04 Mazda 3 hatchback (131,000 miles) was taken in for an oil change and to diagnose a road noise. It was handed off to them in excellent condition except for what turned out to be a cupped tire. It was parked out side overnight, when a 'catastrophic failure' of my oil filter housing occurred. All oil drained out of my car at night. The next morning they drove it into the shop - didn't smell or see the oil on the ground (roughly 4 quarts that spread in a 3x4 foot area on top of white snow) and didn't see the oil light on. While driving the car into the shop a loud bang came from the engine. They found it was leaking, fixed the leak (at my cost), and continued with the road noise. The car was picked up a week later and was found to have violent metal on metal noise which was later diagnosed as rod knock. The main issues: -Technician didn't see the oil and didn't see the oil light on the car. -The part that failed is a known issue this car model car. You can Google 'oil filter housing failure' and it will pop up in various places and include the engine tearing itself apart. -Service informed me of driving the car without oil, but not the 'loud bang' or the 'rod knock'. - They have had limited availability over 3 weeks of trying to get this settled. I need to commute to work, 3 weeks is unacceptable. -And lastly, I have heard from their insurance (also impossible to get a hold of) that they will not be compensating me based on the sequence of events. I'm sorry this is unacceptable. But ultimately, in the simplest sense - great car given to dealership service. Car given back without functioning engine. I will never go back here. I will never associate with anything Mike Raisor. Utterly deplorable. More
