Efficient, knowledgeable & alert They addressed my main issue which turned out to be a piece of metal in my tire. But Charles also does a serious inspection of my car, and noticed where someone must have hit my front end in a parking lot. The damage was barely noticeable to me until he pointed it out. I had not hit anything or been in an accident so it had to have been a parking lot somewhere. He explained what would need to be done that should allow them to pop it out, which I will do later. While I was upset with the diesel news that came out 2 weeks after buying my car, I do love the car. And the service has been outstanding. If I get a reasonable buy back, I will probably trade up to the same car with a couple more extras, but a regular gas car. More
On schedule work was performed on my scheduled appointment time, wait was expected for repairs, but work was completed to satisfaction and done correctly. OK - but I took my Passat diesel in for an oil change. I had been there about an hour. Thinking that was a bit long for an oil change I went out to the servi I took my Passat diesel in for an oil change. I had been there about an hour. Thinking that was a bit long for an oil change I went out to the service manager to ask why it was taking so long. Turned out the shop computer was down. The car had been ready for 30 minutes and they were waiting for the computer to come up so they could do the paperwork. WHAT!?? Have these people become so enslaved by technology that they can't do receipts by hand with a pencil or pen. THIS IS NOT CUSTOMER BASED SERVICE ! Finally, they just let me take the car sans paperwork which they said would follow when the computer came up. I guess it never did because I have yet to see a the paperwork. This is the SECOND time this has happened to me at this dealership. BOO HISS ! Nice people -- very shoddy customer relations. More
