I leased a Sienna back in 2008 and my experience was excellent with this dealership so I did not hesitate to return when I wanted a new Sienna. I was my first stop and I felt confident that it would be my last and it was. Picked out a van and was driving home in no time. More
This dealership is a model on how to do it right. They are friendly, helpful, easy to work with and professional to the highest level. This is my second car purchased through Jerry Lambert, and I have sent other customers to him. Without exception, the sales experience has been positive. Over the years, I have had miserable experiences -- with Ford, Subaru, Volvo, Oldsmobile and, yes, Toyota in another area. Nobody seemed to understand that I want information at the front of the deal, not at the back. Toyota West does not play games or pass you around, and that's worth a great deal to me. And speaking of worth, what a terrific price I got on the trade-in and the new car! More
Overall, I had a very positive experience with this dealership and would recommend them to others without hestation. I received prompt attention and I really appreciated the salesman listening to my n dealership and would recommend them to others without hestation. I received prompt attention and I really appreciated the salesman listening to my needs in a car purchase, instead of trying to up sell me into something I wasn't interested in. He had strong knowledge of the car, and he communicated in a style that made me feel very comfortable with him and Toyota West. Their initial sales price offer with my trade in was very, very competitive(and I had done alot of research). They did not play games with the negotiation, and I really appreciate that. I also felt the salesman did an excellent job explaining the free first year maintenance program offered with my purchase, and made me feel very confortable with the quality of services Toyota West provides, and that they operate very effectively at getting customers in, serviced promptly and on their way as quickly as possible. I have purchased a number of cars in my life, I would have to say this was the best experience I had with a car dealership. More
The end of my experience at Toyota West was less than impressive. Working with Shaun and Anita was fine. The problem was with a saleperson named Chris. We had been to the dealership 2 weeks prior and tes impressive. Working with Shaun and Anita was fine. The problem was with a saleperson named Chris. We had been to the dealership 2 weeks prior and test drove the vehicle with Chris. Made an offer that the dealership could not accept at that time. Called back the next day spoke to Chris and made a counter offer that the dealer could still not accept. Two weeks later I was online and noticed the price had dropped below what I had offered two weeks prior. I sent an email to the online response for interest and then received a call from Anita. I communicated the offer and she told me she would check and see if it would owrk. She called the next day and said that it would. We went to the dealership met with Anita and Shaun. All was well. The dealership was busy and we were handed off to Chris. Lets just say that Chris's attitude towards us was less than professional. His body language spoke volumes. Obviously we were going to be punished. His comment as his back was towards us taking us into the office to fill out the paperwork was, "I see you got the price you wanted." Then later "how did you get connected to Shaun." My response, I sent an email. I have been in sales for 23 years and part of sales is follow-up knowing what your customer wants and then following through to meet their needs. If Chris wanted our business maybe he could have called 2 weeks later to let me know the price had dropped. Chris said that the dealership had cut the price on the vehicle after the New Year. Who's job is it to let me know. Obviously Chris felt that he had rights to the deal. That should not be the customers fault. Those are internal issues that the dealership has created and should address. More

David worked with us and let us drive both to see which we preferred. This makes the 5th Toyota we have owned over the years the first from Toyota West. We would most certainly recommend Toyota West to anyone. More

The staff at Toyota West was very helpful and mindful of our time. We found the vehicle we wanted at a price we felt it was worth and were given sufficient allowance for our trade-in. Jerry and Anita were p our time. We found the vehicle we wanted at a price we felt it was worth and were given sufficient allowance for our trade-in. Jerry and Anita were prompt in responding to all of our emails and phone calls. And, driving off in a vehicle with a full tank of gas capped off a wonderful car-buying experience. We will be customers of Toyota West again, assuredly. More
Our purpose in buying the van was to find reliable transportation for use with the volunteer work I do with several animal rescue groups driving long distances. Volunteer work will limited as the veh transportation for use with the volunteer work I do with several animal rescue groups driving long distances. Volunteer work will limited as the vehicle was not in the great shape mechanically Joe Skip assurred it to be. In fact, half way home the engine light was on and the vibration increased. On Monday we had to replace the 2 front tires as one was seperating and 2 different mechanics diagnosed the same ignition coil failure causing the engine light to come on. Why did we not bring it back to the dealership? We had concerns about your mechanics abilities as they obviously were not as thorough and they should have been going "completely through the car making sure it was road worthy" as indicated by Mr. Skip. As the intake has to be removed to repair this problem, this added to the tires and duplicate keys brings us to $900 in expenses.....thus far. 1/24/11 Todd, After a very frustrating week, today we resolved issues with the MPV purchased 1/15/11. As I stated in my email to Perry last week, the front end shaking was a result of a tire separating and we replaced those tires. On the way home from the dealership, the engine light came on and we had a diagnostics run at the Mazda dealership and by the mechanic that ultimately made the repairs. An ignition coil was misfiring due to moisture that still remained today and the spark plugs were still damp. There was also a hole in the PCV hose. Apparently the water came from washing the engine possibly the day the car was delivered between the time we drove it and drove away. That’s the only explanation. In good faith, I would ask to be reimbursed for the following expenses: Hilbish spark plugs and ignition coil: $89.61 Marburger Mazda $49.99 Diagnostic of code and PCV hose JR’s Service $200.03 installation of the ignition wire and PCV hose (we paid to have the others coils replaced as the intake was already removed for the original coil) $339.63 2/7/11 I see you have posted your responses within the last hour obviously due to my email of 2/5/11 about this unsafe vehicle. My side of the situation as a consumer should also be truly represented. 2/5/11 Todd, Thank you for the reimbursement of $339.63 we received 2/3/11. We did receive notice that the tag has been received, unfortunately, the van continues to break down most recently leaving me in Spartanburg, SC, 1/29/11, over 100 miles from home on a volunteer mission. I had to be towed back to Concord. Another code present, indicating the final ignition coils must be replaced, and we were back on the road yesterday, briefly. Traveling 6 miles from home the engine light is on again. In the 3 weeks we have owned this car, I have made one trip to town and back without the engine light coming on and making driving impossible. Thus far we have replaced the rear rotors, rear tires, a spare key, 2 key fobs, 6 spare plugs, 6 ignition coils, and a PCV hose. Sadly, we are now stuck with a vehicle that is unsafe to drive, IF it runs at all, and we do not feel it will ever be reliable. Additionally, the DVD player does not work. Yes, we did buy this “as is” with the confidence that “this vehicle has been gone thru by our Service Department and is road ready and safe to drive” as stated more than once by your representatives. We both deeply regret this purchase as it has caused tremendous financial hardship in addition to raising safety concerns due to breakdowns. At this point, I’ve had to completely curtain my volunteer efforts as well. We did review comments about how your dealership conducts business and that is why we made the drive to your dealership in the first place. Extremely disappointed, Denise 2/7/11 Toyota West, continue to pride yourselves on your treatment of customers and we'll continue to live with the truth. It's embarrassing explaining to coworkers, friends, family, and fellow charity volunteers why I can't drive the van. Even more sad is that the money we are spending on repairs could be going to support the rescue. More
