DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR, NEW OR USED, FROM FLORIDA FINE CARS! My wife and I arrived into Florida from Europe and we needed to buy a car as we will be here for 18 months. Little did i know that buying a car over i My wife and I arrived into Florida from Europe and we needed to buy a car as we will be here for 18 months. Little did i know that buying a car over in USA is sooooo different than in Europe. After some research on the internet we found a car which was within our budget so decided to drive down from Fort Lauderdale to Florida Fine cars in Miami.Arriving at the dealer we were greeted straight away by a friendly staff member (David Marsh)who advised that the car we were looking for had been taking away to auction. So we looked around at cars within and we were showed a Ford Explorer. Done some checks, went for a drive around the back of the car lot and to us the car seemed fine for the price. After waiting around for 2 hours (yes 2 hours) we finally managed to get some temporary tags and get the title signed over to my wife. After shaking hands and leaving the garage, 5 miles later, our car overheated with a power of smoke coming from under the hood at 65mph on the i95, and the steering, brakes and engine cut out. Luckily enough my wife managed to steer it to a stop on just after a cut off and onto a side road. It was 15 mins after the dealer had closed and we phoned the garage anyway. No Answer. Stuck somewhere in florida after only 3 weeks since arriving, no contacts, no AAA (as we didnt know what this was until a few days later), nothing. I phoned David who sold us the car who kindly came out to help as he understood we were truly stuck. He tried to call his bosses and colleagues but no answer. We where so worried about the money we had just paid for the car. He advised the best thing to do is get the car back to the dealer, dont worry about the money and we can sort it out in the morning. So David drove our newly bought car, i drove his and my wife drove the rental we had. 5 mins later same thing, engine, steering and brakes cut out. So we managed to pushed the car next to a store off the main road. He phoned his bosses again and managed to get in contact with 2. The advised to him to tell us, dont worry about the money, just come in to the dealer in the morning and we can sort this out. Next morning, i phoned David and he had spoken to his bosses and advised to me before i left the house that the car was bought as "AS IS". i asked what that was and he explained it to me. In Europe all cars being sold either privately or from a dealer must pass a test to see if they are safe to drive. Apparently in the US, this doesnt exist and we didnt have any idea. Now we are foreign but they took advantage of our lack of knowledge regarding used car sales just to get a sale. So i went to the dealer and a manager wouldnt speak to me unless i got the car back to the garage. I was like "what?!", the car is undriveable and unsafe!!! i asked if they had a in house tow truck, "yes, but you will have to pay $100". "you have got to be joking! my wife could have been seriously hurt last night due to a car which you sold me, 5 miles ago and only last night!" "not our problem, you bought the car As-Is" i was furious but David had offered to help me again. So we took his car to where the car had broken down the night before, again he drove the car 5 miles back, breaking down again twice. After arriving back into the garage, i spoke to a manager, explained what happened and explained that i am more than happy to put the money i used, even pay a little bit more to get another car that works. He said, let me see what i can do. Now this is 10am and i am not joking when i say this, that i waited there until 2.07pm exactly before Peter told David to tell me that i bought it as "As-Is" and it is not their problem. I wanted to hear it from Peter, so another 25 mins later, Peter arrived and he explained. He said my options are to get a Diagnosis and get the car fixed, out of options i agreed. "It only cost $90 for the Diagnosis" "Wait a minute! you want me to pay, again, for something which isnt my fault! "yes but you signed the car as-is... " this a joke and a nightmare, now you have my money, you have my car, and you want me to pay you to find out what the xxxx is wrong with it!?" so he gave me a $30 discount which was kind of him (not!) but i thought by the time i get a tow truck to another garage etc So i got the diagnosis and got a phone call from Ronald, service manager, who said it will cost $900 to fix. I honestly thought i was going to be sick. i told him not to touch the car. Next day i get it towed to another garage along the road (Prestige Auto & Cycle, one of the most amazing garages ive ever had the pleasure of dealing with - please check out my review with them). I showed them the diagnosis and explained what had happened. I now have the car fixed after giving them the diagnosis and the cost..........$495. DO NOT EVER BUY A CAR, NEW OR USED, FROM FLORIDA FINE CARS! More

But the reason why we had went there f We went to Florida Fine Cars to look around but not to make a decision that day or at least on the first visit. But the reason why we had went there first is because we have three friends that bought cars from Florida Fine Cars and not only were satisfied, but there cars are still functioning with no issue at all. One of them bought a used car from them 6 years ago. As Donald approached my wife and I, he greeted us politely from about 40 feet away. Anything I mentioned of my wife's taste, he listened and readjusted the selection. At no time has he ever showed us something that we were not interested in. My wife wanted a Toyota Corolla and I, on the other hand, wanted her to get a Chevy Cruze. Well, Donald suggested us to drive the Corolla from the Miami lot to the Hollywood lot, then once at the Hollywood lot, we could test drive the Chevy Cruze. After the test drives, we had decided to go with the Cruze, which is now in the driveway. He made it seem as if he was just a voice in the background, not forcing our hands nor trying to convince us to get something just to make a few bucks. He answered all of our questions, not beating around the bush and even personal questions (something I like to do to see how honest a sales rep is). All in all, I will bring anyone wanting to buy a car, new or used, to Florida Fine Cars; better yet, I will bring them to Donald Jarrett. Thanks again, Ralph and Khodia More

We called in advance to make sure the vehicle was still available and were connected with Mark Feldman. Mark met with us, we tested the vehicle, and had a conversation with Mark on our budget and lifestyle-- and Mark made the deal happen! The team at Florida Fine Cars is great-- knowledgeable, friendly, and accommodating. We are EXTREMELY happy with our new vehicle and will be returning when we are on the market again for a used vehicle. More
