I found David Deger very easy to work with. We started our meeting via email when I requested an online quote for a new vehicle. I received an email back promptly with a very good quote. I have worked with other dealerships and sales people in the past but I always felt like a number being herded through the different sales processes of car buying. Past car-shopping experiences were full of pressure and uncertainty which lead to realllllly poor choices and high car notes. When I was faced with the reality it was time to buy a new car, I dreaded it. U uncertainty which lead to realllllly poor choices and high car notes. When I was faced with the reality it was time to buy a new car, I dreaded it. Ugh! I hated it! So I turned to the internet to get as much information from Ford as possible before heading to a dealership to meet with the cheesy salesman. The Ford website directed me to Five Star Ford in North Richland Hills, Texas. I received an email from Justin Compton, internet sales manager. Immediately I felt (hmm, not cheesy) this might not be so bad. He was asking how he could help ME. A salesman wanting to sell me what I want rather than the car of the month was simply unheard of. Months of indecision (mine) and patience (definitely his) led me to finally enter the dealership to make a deal. Justin was ready. He had three models ready for test drive. I said I only needed to drive the one, but he recommended all three. As we drove, he explained the different features on each model like a child would explain his new lego masterpiece. By the end of the test drives I knew everything I needed to know, and more (down to how to change the pretty ambient lighting to Tiffany blue!). Now it was time for (gulp) financing (the F word!). My palms started sweating. Justin started talking and it was obvious how much he loves his job and wants to help people find what they want and can afford. He knew enough about my needs to have me drive the third model because that was what I originally said I wanted. No pressure. No more sweaty palms. He and financing (Jimmy!!!) worked diligently and we made the deal. Reaching this point was a pleasure and without pressure. Justin, Jimmy and everyone I came in contact with always had a smile. Always greeted me asking if I needed assistance. If I said no, they didn't hover. Justin represented Five Star Ford in the most professional manner and, with the addition of his personality, made the typical "high pressure sales" car buying process a thing of the past. Thank you Justin for your patience and determination to help me find exactly what I wanted. The Five Star Ford team not only met, but exceeded my expectations. In fact when I first started shopping I was interested in a smaller less expensive truck but because I wasn't pressured I actually came to realize that a larger more expensive truck was what I needed. Joe was easy to commuicate with and had a very friendly and professional approach. The best part is I think I received a great value for my money. There was no pressure trying to sell us what they had. He answered our questions and explained any features we were interested in. I also liked the online maintenance scheduling. Our first oil change was scheduled before we left the dealership This was the best vehicle purchasing experience we have had. We recommend Five Star Ford if you are looking for a new car or truck.
