To understand the high degree of my appreciation for Five Star Ford, you must first know of the extreme dread and anxiety that I experience in the days leading to my quest in purchasing a new vehicle. Car dealerships have a reputation for treating female customers with disrespect, and for taking advantage of their perceived ignorance and weakness. The imminent and seemingly endless negotiations culminating in a very large transaction coupled with a long-term financial commitment are reasons enough to avoid the whole process. That being said, my need for a new vehicle left me no choice but to face the unpleasant experience. On April 28, 2012, I walked into Five Star Ford. My fears were unfounded. From the moment I walked through the doors, my experience with the Five Star team was great. Everyone was friendly and eager to help. Apparently Chad Ritter drew the short straw. He was tasked with assisting me. I related to Chad my requirements and wants in a vehicle. He quickly narrowed down the candidates available at Five Star and, in no time at all, Chad located the perfect vehicle that I would end up buying. I was thoroughly impressed with Chad’s knowledge and professionalism. Always respectful, never condescending, he took the time to demonstrate and explain to me the sophisticated electronics and various features that make the Ford Edge the remarkable car that it is. He effectively stepped back when appropriate and allowed the car to sell itself, all the while making sure that I had an understanding of what I was seeing. I never felt rushed or embarrassed. Not pushy, but patient, Chad was a good listener and allowed me all the time I needed to consider the many factors that would determine my decision. I appreciated then, and now, Chad’s help. Mr. Snyder in the Finance Department quickly and efficiently completed the sale. I was very happy with the simplicity of the transaction and very satisfied as I drove my Ford Edge off of the lot. My overall experience with Five Star Ford was awesome due to the salesman, Chad Ritter. He did an outstanding job. Thank you, Chad, for making this car buying experience a great one. I will not hesitate to recommend Five Star Ford to friends and family, and I look forward to continuing my relationship with the fine folks at your dealership. Lee made the purchasing process an unexpected pleasure. Not a high pressure deal at all. My experience with Lew Taylor was excellent, he really knew his cars and was so friendly. He even went out of his way to check the other lot just to see if they had any other 2012 mustangs that were manua knew his cars and was so friendly.
