Fantastic experience and great personnel! We came into the dealership to just look around, we weren't sure of what we wanted to buy at the time outside of an SUV, a new Ford Echo was toward th We came into the dealership to just look around, we weren't sure of what we wanted to buy at the time outside of an SUV, a new Ford Echo was toward the top of the list of models we had decided to at least consider. We also needed to purchase a used vehicle for our teenage daughter and had not considered going through the dealership and instead were looking to buy from an individual selling a car. David Hyche had sold a vehicle to our neighbor and they were very happy with him and the dealership. She knew we were about to go car shopping and recommended we go see him and give 5-Star Ford a shot. David initially started to help my wife while I was on the lot with our kid looking at new and used vehicles. My expectation of how a dealership should operate, how the personnel should treat customers, how things should run, and even down to how things should look were established when I worked for Toyota and Lexus in the late 1980s and early 1990s (last time was over 20 years ago). Let's just say that 5-Star has taken what you only used to be able to get a high end import brand dealership and made that experience available to the average American domestic automobile buyer. When I came inside and met David, my first reaction was that he was a down to earth, easy to talk to, no BS, straight shooter kind of guy. That initial impression was only strengthened over the course of the day and into the next day as we went through the entire process up to delivery. I can't give David enough praise, if I ran a dealership or a department in a dealership, I'd want someone like him in a heartbeat. Knew the product line very well, knew the details, explained the differences in the vehicles with a command of the knowledge, and worked with us through the process of deciding among a few different vehicles to look at and test drive. Once we drove the vehicles, the choice was clear, a new pretty well loaded Explorer was the one. David presented the purchase/finance options to us in an easy to understand manner with several options. In the end, we ended up leasing as opposed to purchasing. Not what we had intended to do but the deal just worked out for us in the end. During all of this, we found a couple of used vehicle for our teenager to look at in the price range we wanted. We also drove those and decided on a used Volvo. In make ready, it was determined that an airbag light that was on was more than a sensor that needed to be replaced and the repair was much more expensive that we or the dealership wanted to pay. Being the quality organization they are, instead of trying to force that car down our throat at a higher price, they decided to pull it from the inventory and auction it off. We were disappointed but at the same time satisfied that the entire issue was handled with integrity. Some dealerships I've worked with in the past would have tried to make that deal work when it wasn't good for anybody. Kudos to all involved in that decision. We asked David to check the used inventory of vehicles that had not made it out of make-ready yet. The next day a VW Jetta came up as a trade in and it was really the perfect car for the teen. Worked that deal and are very happy with that car as is our kid. A brief word on the two gentlemen we worked with in Finance - Bob Little did the closing on the Explorer and Elbert Edwards on the Jetta. Both gentlemen were fantastic, easy to deal with, very friendly, explained everything in succinct detail without being boring or overwhelming with information. I've know a lot of finance guys through the years and these two were as good as any I've known and in fact they were both friendlier and more people and customer oriented than almost all of the rest I've known, including some friends who help that held a similar position at one time or another. Either one would be recommended from my perspective. In the end, we are a very satisfied family with both of the vehicles we purchased. I'd highly recommend both the dealership and David. David was seriously the kind of sales associate that I'd want to deal with when buying a car or truck. Everything was outstanding on all fronts! I will be back when it's time purchase again!! More
True definition of outstanding Customer Service! I went in there with my doubts that I wouldn't get approved and that if I did it wouldn't be for the car that I wanted. As soon as I walked in Jim ass I went in there with my doubts that I wouldn't get approved and that if I did it wouldn't be for the car that I wanted. As soon as I walked in Jim assured me he would do everything he could to make sure I walked out with a smile. I was so nervous but Jim and Jack were so easy to conversate with and do business with as well. I was able to get the car that I went in there for and walk out with way lower monthly payments than I expected. I am truly happy with my decision and so glad I went to Five Star Ford! It was a pleasure and I definitely experienced outstanding customer service! More

They never tried to sell me something I didn't want. I did specifically request the Auto Butler paint protection system and it was applied quickly and professionally. I know that paint protection services are considered high-profit items for dealers, but 5-Star offered an excellent price and having somebody "wax" my truck every six-months for what amounts to $40.00 a service, was too great a value to pass up! Anthony Snyder treated my wife and I like family. Jimmy Mathews provided an excellent service in educating me as to the capability of My-touch, Wow, what capabilities! More

I was in the market for an F150 Crew Cap and chose 5 Star Ford in North Richland Hills based on positive internet reviews. I was not disappointed!! My Sales Representative was Joe Ferrantelli, who has been with 5 Star for several years. He was friendly, easy to work with and EXTREMELY KNOWLEDGEABLE about the Ford product line. He explained numerous features before, during and after our test drive. I went home after my initial test drive and followed up with Joe the next day. He informed me that the vehicle I drove had been sold and said he had another one just like it. I ran some numbers and called him back, and he told me that the second vehicle had just sold. He walked me through the remaining selection on their internet inventory and tried to find me an acceptable replacement. We couldn't agree on one, but in LESS THAN 30 MINUTES Joe called me back and said the buyer on the second vehicle did not close on the sale and he offered to hold it for me if I got over there from Dallas. He did just what he said he'd do -- the vehicle was there, the deal was very fair, and Bob, the Business Manager, professionally walked me through the financing paperwork. The deal was done in just under 2 hours. I was very impressed with the folks at 5 Star. I wanted a Ford, but in looking at other manufacturer's products (all well known truck brands), the people at 5 Star, especially Joe, stood out as far as professionalism and product knowledge go. They are great to work with. More

Tony Mellado was my sales rep and he worked around my schedule to make sure I did not have to spend a lot of time at the dealership. He had everything ready to go when I came in on Feb. 14th. Went to finance and Bryan was extremely helpful with all the paper work and had me out and on my way quickly. If I'm in the market for a Ford in the future, I will have Five Star on the top of my list. More
