Lack of communication leading to needless charges I was pleased with attentiveness, service up until my last three visits which were scheduled oil changes. At the time of the first oil change, I had n I was pleased with attentiveness, service up until my last three visits which were scheduled oil changes. At the time of the first oil change, I had noticed my right front tire grinding and also my rear camera had stopped viewing. I reported these issues so they could be looked at either during my oil change or separate appointment. At the time of these reports, my truck was still under warranty of which I was covered under the Gold Plan. A few months later, I hadn't received a call to come in for the tire or the camera. Finally, I had an independent garage diagnose the tire problem prior to First Ford oil change visit because tire was getting very loose. I would have had independent garage fix the "wheel bearing, hub assembly" problem but First Ford service representative mentioned I may still be covered under Gold Plan for both problems. So here continues the problem. During my last oil change, I mentioned to the rep to see if I was still covered under warranty for my issues before doing any work. I already knew what my tire problem was and just needed to know if diagnostics or work was still covered. So after my oil change completed, I see that I was charged diagnostic fee of $130 for the tire and $130. diagnostic fee for the camera! Only then to be told that Warranty had just expired and that camera needed more diagnostic and would cost more money before it could even be fixed! Needless to say, I feel that my problems: 1.) Should have been addressed when I initially reported and been covered under Warranty 2.) Been covered under Warranty anyway since they were reported well before Warranty expiration 3.) Did NOT want to be charge at least tire diagnostic fee because I didn't want it done unless it was covered. Finally, I don't know why it was complicated for rep to be able to easily figure out whether Warranty was or was not in place during last and final visit? I hope this can be addressed as don't think it's fair and prior to this, I was happy with service. More
Newver get a call back with probles as promised Have been waiting for over a month for Mark Gauthier to call us back with just an answer to an ongoing problem and to this day NO PHONE call EVEN and Have been waiting for over a month for Mark Gauthier to call us back with just an answer to an ongoing problem and to this day NO PHONE call EVEN and we intended to buy at least one more maybe even two more vehicles with in the next year but will NOT be going back to this dealership ever again, and will be more than happy to share this info with others who ask our opinion of our new Ford 550 which we get questions of on a daily basis, Thanks First Ford for NOT FOLLOWING through with a VERY DISSATISFIED customer. More that one person dropped the ball on us as a NEW and future customer. More
